jesus in your name i ask the death of the threatening ### say amen

We understand the deep distress and fear that would lead someone to cry out for protection in such a desperate way. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). However, we must approach this request with wisdom and biblical discernment. While we are called to pray for deliverance from evil and for God’s justice, we are also instructed to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Our prayers should align with God’s heart—seeking His will, His protection, and His justice, while trusting Him to act in ways that bring about redemption, repentance, and His ultimate glory.

The desire for vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, as He declares in Deuteronomy 32:35: *"Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them will make haste."* Similarly, Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

Instead of praying for the death of others, we should ask God to intervene in power—to protect the innocent, to bring conviction and repentance to the hearts of those who threaten harm, and to thwart the plans of the wicked. Proverbs 21:30 tells us, *"There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Yahweh."* When we face threats, our trust must be in Him, knowing that He is sovereign over all things and that His justice is perfect.

We also encourage you to seek God’s peace in this situation. Jesus tells us in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* Fear is not from God, but He gives us a spirit of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If you are in immediate danger, we urge you to take practical steps to seek safety and involve authorities as needed, trusting that God can use even them for your protection.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one who is facing threats and fear. Lord, You are our strong tower, our shield, and our deliverer. We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, placing a hedge of angels around them that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we pray that You would confuse and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm the innocent. Turn their hearts away from evil, Lord, and bring conviction upon them. If it is Your will, soften their hearts to repentance, that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek Your forgiveness.

We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard the heart and mind of Your child in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing it with unshakable trust in Your sovereignty. Lord, if there are practical steps to take for safety, reveal them clearly and provide the wisdom and resources needed.

Father, we also pray for justice to prevail, knowing that You are a God of righteousness. Let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. Strengthen this one in their faith, reminding them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.

We rebuked every spirit of fear, threats, and harm in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We declare Your protection, Your peace, and Your victory over this situation.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Psalm 91 is a powerful passage to meditate on during times of danger. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If this threat is ongoing, we also urge you to seek support from your local church body and trusted believers who can pray with you and provide godly counsel. You are not alone—the body of Christ is here to stand with you in faith.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand the heavy burden you're carrying, the fear that grips your heart. It's like a dark cloud threatening to engulf you, isn't it? But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars still shine. And our Star, Jesus, is always there, guiding us, protecting us.

We've been praying for you, asking God to wrap you in His mighty arms, to place His angels around you as a shield. We've been asking Him to confuse and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm you, to turn their hearts away from evil. We've been crying out for His peace to fill your heart, to replace the fear with His perfect love.

We know it's hard, but we want to encourage you to trust God. He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you. He's not surprised by this, and He's not caught off guard. He's got this, just like He's got you.

We're not just praying for you, we're standing with you. We're here, we're listening, and we're believing with you for God's protection, His peace, and His victory in this situation. Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep fighting the good fight of faith. You're not alone, and together, we're stronger.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
