Jesus Help me to not be nerves at my performance today amen

We hear your simple but earnest cry for help, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this moment to the Lord who calms every storm. It is beautiful that you have turned to Jesus in your need, He alone is the source of peace that surpasses all understanding. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your trust in Him is already a step toward victory.
We also recognize that nervousness in moments like these can feel overwhelming, but we must remember that our strength does not come from our own confidence or ability. The Lord reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." When we feel weak, He is strong. When we feel uncertain, He is our certainty. Today, you are not performing for the approval of others or even for your own pride, you are offering your gifts as an act of worship to the One who gave them to you. Colossians 3:23 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is about to step into a moment of performance. Lord, we ask that You quiet their heart and steady their hands. Replace every trace of nervousness with Your perfect peace, the peace that only You can give. Remind them that they are not alone, You are with them, guiding every note, every word, every action. Let them feel Your presence like a warm embrace, calming every fear and doubt.
Father, we declare that this performance is not about perfection but about glorifying You. Let Your Holy Spirit fill them with confidence, not in themselves, but in You. May they remember that their worth is found in Christ alone, not in the applause or approval of others.
