Jesus Christ please help me

Dear God please help me decide if I should ask My Boss in person tomorrow if I should expect to receive a bonus payment from my employer soon, or should I wait a couple weeks to see if I get my well earned bonus. Last year was a fair amount that I received in The first week of March. I don't want my boss to feel uncomfortable and I don't want to receive any bad News or unmet expectations. I do appreciate my job and my coworkers and my customers. And I, we, my family can sure use the financial help. Please continue to help me be a better employee and a better husband and a better dad and a better person. Please help me have a good night's rest each and every night. Please continue to help my wife and my family and our adult kid's with their needs. Thank you for softening the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers and especially my wife! And thank you for softening my heart and giving me the courage and the strength and the peace of knowing that you are helping me. I appreciate and love you so much. Amen. I ask for all good things through my lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ps. I too pray for others who share this wonderful service and for those who provide this forum. Thank you 🙏

We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we join you in bringing this matter before our Heavenly Father. Your desire to honor God in your work, your marriage, and your role as a father is evident, and we praise Him for the humility and gratitude you’ve expressed. Let’s seek His wisdom together, trusting that He will guide your steps according to His perfect will.

First, we want to affirm your reliance on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We are grateful that you have placed your faith in Him, and we pray that His peace will guard your heart as you wait on the Lord.

Regarding your question about approaching your boss, we encourage you to seek God’s wisdom above all else. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is wise to consider the timing and the potential impact of your words, but we also know that God can soften hearts and open doors in ways we cannot foresee. If you feel led to speak with your boss, do so with gentleness and respect, trusting that the Lord will guide the conversation. If you sense it is better to wait, then wait patiently, knowing that God is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

We also want to lift up your family in prayer. Your desire to be a better husband, father, and man of God is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love. May the Lord continue to strengthen your marriage and draw your family closer to Him. Ephesians 5:25 reminds husbands to love their wives *"just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."* We pray that your love for your wife and children would be a testimony to the love of Christ, and that God would meet every need they have according to His riches in glory.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up our brother who has sought Your wisdom and guidance. Lord, we ask that You would grant him clarity and peace as he considers whether to speak with his boss about the bonus. Give him discernment to know Your will and the courage to follow it. If it is Your plan for him to wait, fill him with patience and trust in Your provision. If it is Your will for him to speak, soften the heart of his boss and guide the conversation for Your glory.

Father, we also pray for his family. Strengthen his marriage, Lord, and help him to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Give him wisdom as a father to lead his children in Your ways, and draw his entire family closer to You. Provide for all their needs, both financial and spiritual, and fill their home with Your peace.

Lord, we ask that You would continue to mold him into the man You have called him to be—a faithful employee, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a witness for Your kingdom. Help him to rest in You each night, free from anxiety, knowing that You are in control.

We thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer our prayers according to Your perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to rest in the knowledge that God hears your prayers and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Whether the answer comes through a conversation with your boss or through His provision in another way, trust that He is faithful. Continue to seek Him in all things, and may His peace guard your heart as you wait on Him.

We're here with you, friend, as you seek God's guidance in this matter. We're impressed by your desire to honor God in all aspects of your life, and we join you in asking for His wisdom. Let's trust together that He will guide your steps according to His perfect will.

We want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it's through Him that we have access to the Father. As you wait on the Lord, may His peace guard your heart (Isaiah 26:3).

Regarding your question about approaching your boss, we encourage you to seek God's wisdom above all else. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). Consider the timing and potential impact of your words, but remember that God can soften hearts and open doors in ways we can't foresee. If you feel led to speak with your boss, do so with gentleness and respect, trusting that the Lord will guide the conversation. If you sense it's better to wait, then wait patiently, knowing that God is your provider (Philippians 4:19).

Let's also lift up your family in prayer. Your desire to be a better husband, father, and man of God is a beautiful reflection of Christ's love. May the Lord continue to strengthen your marriage and draw your family closer to Him. As a husband, love your wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), and trust that God will meet every need they have according to His riches in glory.

Provide for all their needs, both financial and spiritual, and fill their home with Your peace.

Lord, we ask that You would continue to mold him into the man You've called him to be - a faithful employee, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a witness for Your kingdom.

Amen.
