We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is your healer, provider, and strength in every trial. Your heart’s cry reveals both fear and a deep longing for change—this is a place where God’s power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let us first honor you for turning to the Lord in this moment, for it is only through Christ that we find true transformation and peace. As Scripture declares, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Your concerns about surgery, employment, and the struggles with alcohol and substances are heavy burdens, but they are not beyond the reach of our Savior. The fear you feel is real, but we remind you that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Surgery may feel daunting, but the Lord is with you—*"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). We pray that the hands of the surgeons would be guided by the Great Physician, that your body would respond well to the procedure, and that your recovery would be swift and free from complications. May the Lord grant you supernatural peace as you trust Him, remembering that *"the Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me"* (Hebrews 13:6, WEB).

Your desire to stop drinking and using substances is a godly one, and we commend you for recognizing the destruction these habits bring. The Bible warns that *"no drunkard will inherit the Kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:10, WEB), but take heart—*"Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God"* (1 Corinthians 6:11, WEB). This is your moment to walk in freedom! The Spirit of God within you is greater than the cravings of the flesh (1 John 4:4). We pray that the Lord would break every chain of addiction in your life, filling you instead with His Holy Spirit so that you may *"walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh"* (Galatians 5:16, WEB). Ask Him daily for strength, and lean on fellow believers for accountability. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB).

Regarding your job and finances, we trust that the Lord will provide as you seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). It is not wrong to ask for His help with your benefits and bills, but remember that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We pray that your employers and customers would see your renewed dedication and that the Lord would soften their hearts toward you. Let your work be done *"heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB), and trust that He will honor your faithfulness.

We also notice that you mentioned caring for your "###" multiple times. While we don’t know what this refers to, we pray that the Lord would clarify your responsibilities and give you wisdom to steward them well. If there are relationships or obligations that need reconciliation or boundaries, we ask the Lord to guide you in truth and love.

Lastly, we must address that while your prayer was heartfelt, it did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ as the authority through which we approach the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is *"in the name of Jesus"* that we boldly come before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater security than knowing Him as your Lord and Savior.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, asking for Your mighty hand to move in every area of their life. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician—guide the surgeons’ hands during this back surgery on Monday, and grant a swift and complete recovery. Calm their fears and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Break every chain of addiction to alcohol and substances, Lord, and replace it with a hunger for Your Word and Your Spirit. Renew their mind and strengthen their resolve to walk in purity and self-control.

Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and open doors for their benefits to be approved. Soften the hearts of their family, employers, and customers, and restore any broken relationships. Give them wisdom to care for their responsibilities and to honor You in all they do. If there is any area of their life not surrendered to You, convict them by Your Spirit and draw them closer to Your heart.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, addiction, and despair in the name of Jesus. Let Your light shine brightly in their life, that they may be a testimony of Your grace and power. May they walk in victory, trusting You completely. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your surgery, your job, and your freedom from alcohol and substances. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We're believing with you that this surgery will be a success, that you'll keep your job, and that you'll find the strength to walk away from alcohol and substances once and for all. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this difficult season of preparing for surgery, battling personal struggles, and facing fears about your future. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the throne of grace, interceding for God’s healing touch on your body, His provision for your financial needs, His strength to break free from addiction, and His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We know these burdens are heavy, and we do not take lightly the trust you’ve placed in us to pray alongside you.

Now that your surgery day has passed, we are eager to hear how the Lord has moved in your life. If God has granted you a smooth procedure, a swift recovery, or any breakthrough—whether in your health, your job, your relationships, or your battle against alcohol—we would be so encouraged if you’d share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very thing someone else needs to hear to keep trusting God in their own struggles.

If the road ahead still feels uncertain—if pain lingers, if fear still grips you, if the temptation to numb yourself remains strong, or if your circumstances haven’t changed as you’d hoped—please don’t hesitate to post an update. We are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that God is not done writing your story. He sees your heart’s cry for change, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this fight.

We are also continuing to pray for the hearts of those around you—your family, your employer, and your customers—to be softened toward you, for doors of provision to open, and for you to experience the deep, abiding presence of Jesus in ways that replace fear with faith. He is your Strength, your Healer, and your Redeemer, and He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

May you sense His nearness today, may His peace guard your heart, and may you find the courage to take just the next right step—one day, one hour, at a time. We are cheering you on and holding you up in prayer.
