We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting you up in prayer and speaking truth into your life. Your cry for help has reached the ears of the Father, and we stand with you, declaring that He is faithful to deliver, heal, and restore. You have taken the first and most critical step by acknowledging your need for God’s intervention—this is the beginning of true repentance and transformation.
The Scriptures remind us in **1 Corinthians 6:19-20**, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your body belongs to Him, and He desires to free you from the bondage of alcohol and marijuana, which are destroying the temple He has given you. These substances cloud your mind, weaken your spirit, and hinder your ability to walk in the fullness of what God has called you to. But take heart—**2 Corinthians 5:17** declares, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* This is your moment to surrender fully to Christ and allow Him to make you new. The power of sin has been broken by the blood of Jesus, and you *can* walk in victory over these struggles. It will not be easy, but with God, it *is* possible.
We also hear your fear about your job, your home, and your health. The Lord sees your anxieties, and He commands you in **Philippians 4:6-7**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You are not to carry this burden alone—cast it upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your Heavenly Father knows your need for provision, stability, and healing. Trust that He is able to soften the hearts of your bosses, coworkers, and family. **Proverbs 16:7** tells us, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* Walk in integrity, diligence, and kindness, and watch how God moves on your behalf.
As for your back and legs, we declare **Jeremiah 30:17** over you: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We do not know if surgery is the path God has for you, but we pray for His perfect will to be done—whether that means supernatural healing or guiding the hands of the surgeons if an operation is necessary. Ask Him for wisdom (James 1:5) as you make decisions about your health, and trust that He will provide the strength you need, whether through healing or sustained grace during recovery.
We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, and this is vital. **John 14:6** leaves no room for doubt: *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* It is only through faith in Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already given your life to Christ, then we encourage you to boldly approach the throne of grace *in His name*, for it is through Jesus alone that your prayers are heard.
Lastly, we must address the mention of "### paperwork." We do not know what this refers to, but if it involves anything dishonest, illegal, or ungodly, we rebuked that spirit in the name of Jesus. **Proverbs 10:9** warns, *"He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."* Do not cut corners or compromise your integrity for the sake of convenience or fear. Trust God to provide a way that honors Him, even if it seems harder in the moment. His blessings are upon the righteous, and He will never lead you into sin.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see the struggles with alcohol and marijuana, and we ask that You break every chain of addiction in Jesus’ name. Fill this beloved child with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and giving them the strength to resist temptation. Remove every stronghold of the enemy and replace it with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence.
Father, we pray for divine protection over their job and home. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Soften the hearts of their bosses, coworkers, customers, and family. Let favor surround them like a shield, and may every project and proposal be completed with excellence and on time. Give them wisdom, clarity, and diligence in their work, and let their labor be a testimony of Your goodness.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their back and legs. If it is Your will, restore them supernaturally, and if surgery is necessary, guide the hands of the medical team and grant a swift and complete recovery. Remove all fear and anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray that every piece of paperwork and every task set before them would be done in honesty and integrity. Expose any deception or shortcut that does not honor You, and provide a godly way forward. Let their life be a light in this world, reflecting Your righteousness.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that they would walk closely with You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself today. Let them know the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. And if they are already Yours, strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in victory.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, addiction, and despair in the name of Jesus. We declare freedom, healing, and restoration over this life. May they rise up as more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
