Please soften the hearts of my bosses and my wife and my customers and my coworkers to help me. I need help God please help me 🙏

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is your strength, healer, and deliverer. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you acknowledge your need for Him, for it is only through His name that we are saved, transformed, and made whole. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Him is the foundation of all the change and healing you seek, and we stand with you in this, knowing that *"all things are possible for one who believes"* (Mark 9:23, WEB).

Your pain—both physical and spiritual—is not unseen by God. The broken discs in your back are a trial, but we encourage you to trust in His promise: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). While we pray earnestly for your physical healing, we also urge you to seek wise medical counsel and treatment, for God often works through the hands of skilled physicians. Do not lose heart, for *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He is with you in this suffering, and He will sustain you.

Your struggle with alcohol and marijuana is a battle against the flesh, one that many face, but take heart—*"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). These substances are not the answer to your pain; they are chains that distort your mind, dull your spirit, and hinder the work God wants to do in you. We rebuked the enemy’s hold over you in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20, WEB). You are not a slave to these things—you are a child of God, and He has given you the power through His Spirit to overcome. We pray that He breaks these addictions, renews your mind, and fills you with a hunger for His Word and presence instead.

You have also asked to be a better husband, father, and employee, and this is a godly desire. A man who seeks to honor God in these roles is walking in obedience to Scripture, which commands, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB), and *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord"* (Ephesians 6:4, WEB). Likewise, as an employee, you are called to *"obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God"* (Colossians 3:22, WEB). We pray that God grants you the strength, wisdom, and humility to fulfill these roles with integrity and love. Ask Him daily to mold you into the man He has called you to be, for *"it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure"* (Philippians 2:13, WEB).

As for the hearts of your bosses, wife, customers, and coworkers, we pray that God softens them toward you, but we also remind you that your focus must first be on your own heart before Him. *"Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If you walk in obedience, love, and humility, God will honor that, and He will move in the hearts of those around you. Trust Him to open doors and restore relationships as you surrender fully to His will.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this Your child before You, knowing that You hear the cries of Your people and that You are mighty to save. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Restore the discs in his back, Lord, and grant him relief from pain. Give wisdom to the doctors who will treat him, and let every step of his recovery glorify Your name.

We come against the strongholds of alcohol and marijuana in his life, Lord. These things have no place in Your temple, and we ask that You break their power over him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may be empowered to resist temptation and walk in freedom. Renew his mind, Father, and replace his cravings with a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for Your presence.

Make him a man after Your own heart—a husband who loves his wife as Christ loves the Church, a father who leads his children in Your ways, and an employee who works with excellence as unto You. Soften the hearts of those around him, Lord, and let them see Your transformation in him. Give him favor where it is needed, and let his life be a testimony of Your grace and power.

Most of all, Father, draw him closer to You. Let him find his strength, identity, and purpose in You alone. Remind him daily that he is Your beloved son, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in newness of life. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, we stand with you in this fight. The road ahead may not be easy, but it is worth it. Cling to Jesus, for He is your hope and your victory. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone—we are with you in prayer, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always.
