Jesus Christ please help me

Please help me prepare for what I may choose to do. Help me set up my life insurance policies and my finances and my will and paperwork so my family doesn't have to do it. Help me say goodbye to all without them knowing my plans to not be here anymore. It's ok. I give up Lord, it's all yours as it always has been. Thank you for my life and my family. I hope you can help me change my mind and my reason to not be here anymore.

We hear the deep sorrow and despair in your words, and our hearts ache for the pain you are carrying. First and foremost, we must address the urgent matter at hand: the thoughts of ending your life are not from God, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary struggles, and it contradicts God’s perfect will for your life. He has plans for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your life has immense purpose in His kingdom.

It is clear you are feeling overwhelmed, but we must remind you that God is your strength and refuge, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You do not have to carry this burden alone—cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The fact that you are reaching out, even in this moment of despair, shows that there is still a spark of hope in you, and we cling to that. God is not finished with you yet.

You mentioned preparing paperwork and saying goodbye, but we urge you to instead prepare your heart to fight for the life God has given you. The enemy wants you to believe lies—that you are a burden, that there is no way out, or that your family would be better off without you. But these are *lies*. Your family loves you, and your absence would leave a wound in their lives that only God could heal. You are needed, valued, and deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

We also notice that while you mentioned Jesus Christ, there was no declaration of trust in Him as your Savior and Lord. If you have not already, we implore you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He alone can give you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the strength to endure. If you have already accepted Christ, then cling to Him now more than ever. He is your anchor in this storm.

If you are struggling with feelings of hopelessness or thoughts of suicide, we strongly encourage you to reach out to a trusted Christian brother or sister, a pastor, or a biblical counselor immediately. You are not meant to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is here to support you, pray for you, and walk alongside you. If you are in immediate danger, please contact a crisis hotline or seek professional help—this is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and courage.

Let us pray for you now with urgency and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Lord, You know the depths of their pain, and You see every tear they have shed. We ask You to intervene mightily in this situation. Bind the spirits of despair, depression, and suicide that are attacking them, and loose Your peace, hope, and joy into their heart. Remind them that they are not alone—that You are with them, and so are we, their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root in their mind. Replace those lies with Your truth: that they are loved, valued, and have a purpose in Your kingdom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and renew their mind with Your Word. Give them the strength to take one step at a time, trusting You to guide them through this darkness into Your marvelous light.

We pray for divine connections—godly people to come alongside them, to encourage them, and to help them see the hope that is found in You alone. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their Savior, their Redeemer, and their ever-present Help in time of need.

Lord, we ask for wisdom as they handle their finances and paperwork, but more importantly, we ask for a supernatural shift in their heart and mind. Turn their thoughts away from death and toward the life You have for them. Restore their joy, Lord, and give them a reason to keep fighting. Help them to see that their story is not over—that You are writing a testimony of redemption and victory through their life.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the plans You have for them are good. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and protect them from the schemes of the enemy. Give them the courage to reach out for help and to lean on the body of Christ during this time.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray for a breakthrough. We ask for healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, and let them know that You are holding them close. Remind them that even in their weakest moment, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we believe that You will restore them to a place of hope and purpose. May they experience Your love in a way they never have before, and may they walk forward in the victory that Jesus Christ has already won for them.

In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Now, we urge you to take action. Do not isolate yourself—reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, or a Christian counselor today. Share with them what you are going through, and allow them to pray with you and support you. If you are in immediate distress, please contact a crisis hotline or seek professional help without delay. You are not alone, and this battle is not yours to fight alone.

We also encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word. Read Psalm 23, Psalm 34, and Romans 8. Let His promises sink deep into your heart. Play worship music that exalts the name of Jesus, and let His presence fill your home and your mind. Fast from negative influences, and feast on the truth of Scripture.

Finally, we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. God is not done with you—He is calling you to rise up, to fight, and to trust Him with your life. The pain you are feeling today will not last forever, but your life has eternal significance. Choose life, choose hope, and choose Jesus. He is waiting for you with open arms.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We understand that life can feel overwhelming, and it's okay to not have all the answers right now. Let's take this one step at a time together.

First, we want to remind you that you're not alone. We're in this with you, and so is God. He's right there with you, every step of the way. He loves you deeply and has a purpose for your life. It might not feel like it right now, but there is hope, and there is a way forward.

We encourage you to reach out to someone you trust - a friend, a family member, or a pastor. Share what you're going through, and let them pray with you and support you. If you're feeling immediate distress, please don't hesitate to contact a crisis hotline or seek professional help.

As for the practical things you mentioned, like setting up life insurance and getting your finances and will in order, we understand that these are important steps. But we want to encourage you to focus on the present and the future, not on saying goodbye. You're needed here, and your life has value and purpose.

We also want to remind you that God has a plan for you, a plan to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). He sees you, He loves you, and He's not finished with you yet.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your hope, and Your love. Help them to see that they are not alone, that You are with them, and that we, their brothers and sisters in Christ, are standing with them.

We ask that You would give them the strength to take one step at a time, trusting in You. Help them to see the lies of the enemy for what they are - lies - and replace them with Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and renew their mind with Your Word.

We pray for divine connections, Lord. Bring godly people into their life to encourage them and help them see the hope that is found in You alone. If they haven't already, we pray that they would surrender their life fully to Jesus Christ.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, and we believe that You will restore them to a place of hope and purpose.

In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, every step of the way. You're loved, you're seen, and you're not forgotten. Let's keep fighting, together.
