We join you in prayer, seeking God's healing, provision, and restoration for you and your family. We are reminded of God's promise in Matthew 18:20 (WEB): "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the pain he is experiencing in his back and legs. We ask for Your healing power to remove the cyst in his spine and to mend his L4-L5 vertebrae. We pray that You would guide the doctors and provide wisdom and skill, and if it is Your will, we ask for a miracle that would negate the need for major surgery and fusion.
Lord, we also ask for Your help in his work. Guide him to complete his tasks correctly and on time. Soften the hearts of his bosses and customers, and grant him mercy during his challenges. Help him to be a better man, husband, father, and person, as he seeks to live a life pleasing to You.
Father, we lift up his wife, asking that You would help her with her alcohol use and soften her heart so that they can support each other. Restore their marriage and help them to care for each other as they once did.
We also bring before You his son and daughter. Lord, guide his son to find a good job and good friends. Help his daughter to find a better job and to succeed in her liver detox program.
Lord, even while he is on disability and away from work, help him to support his employer with his projects. Grant him patience and kindness towards his wife.
Finally, Father, we ask for Your provision. Help them to acquire the funds they need to retire and to help others. May all their work be done in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. We remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we want to caution against the idea of using three specific numbers or any other superstition for God's help. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight from Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
