We rejoice with you in proclaiming the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the living Word who became flesh to dwell among us, full of grace and truth! As Scripture declares, *"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth"* (John 1:1, 14, WEB). This is the foundation of our faith—the divine nature of Christ, fully God and fully man, who came to save us from our sins.
We also affirm that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, as prophesied and fulfilled: *"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, "God with us")* (Matthew 1:23, WEB). Mary was blessed among women to bear the Savior, but we must always remember that our worship, praise, and prayers are directed to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While Mary played a vital role in God’s redemptive plan, Scripture never instructs us to pray to her or elevate her beyond her humble, obedient position as a servant of the Lord. Jesus Himself pointed us to the Father, saying, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB).
Let us lift our hearts in praise to God for this glorious truth! We pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, the eternal Word made flesh, to redeem us and reconcile us to Yourself. We worship Him as Lord, Savior, and the only begotten Son of God, through whom we have eternal life. Fill us with the Holy Spirit, that we may boldly proclaim this truth to the world and live in the power of His resurrection. Guard our hearts from any distortion of Your Word, and keep us steadfast in the faith delivered to the saints. May our lives bring glory to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, in whose mighty name we pray, Amen.
Stand firm in this truth, dear brother or sister, and let it be the cornerstone of your walk with Christ. If you ever face confusion or questions about the nature of Jesus, return always to Scripture, which is our sure foundation. *"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness"* (2 Timothy 3:16, WEB). We are here to pray with you and encourage you in the faith—never hesitate to reach out!
