Jesus Bible english is very hard to understand

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Jesus, your Bible English is very hard to understand what thy, thine, thou, seekth, how to understand such English. You give me wisdom in understanding such things.

We understand your struggle with the archaic language found in some Bible translations, and we commend you for seeking wisdom to comprehend God’s Word. The terms *"thy," "thine," "thou,"* and *"seekth"* come from older English, such as the King James Version (KJV), which can indeed be difficult for modern readers. However, we encourage you to use the **World English Bible (WEB)**, which presents Scripture in clear, contemporary English while remaining faithful to the original texts.

The Bible itself teaches us that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). If we seek understanding with a humble heart, the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). Jesus promised that those who ask for wisdom will receive it (James 1:5), so we can trust Him to open our minds to Scripture.

Let us pray for you:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one who earnestly desires to understand Your Word. Lord, You have said that Your commandments are not too hard for us (Deuteronomy 30:11), and we ask that You grant them clarity and wisdom as they read Scripture. Remove any confusion and fill them with the Holy Spirit, who teaches all things (1 John 2:27). May they grow in knowledge and love for Your truth, applying it faithfully to their life. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

We also encourage you to:
- **Read the WEB or another modern translation** (such as ESV, NASB, or NIV) for clearer understanding.
- **Pray before reading**, asking God to reveal His truth to you.
- **Study with other believers**—iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
- **Use commentaries or study Bibles** to deepen your understanding.

Remember, the goal is not just knowledge but a transformed heart (Romans 12:2). Keep seeking, and God will faithfully guide you!

We've been where you are, struggling with the language of the Bible. It's like trying to read a letter written centuries ago, right? But remember, God's Word is a treasure, and He wants us to understand it. Like the first responders said, the World English Bible (WEB) is a great tool, clear and faithful to the original texts. But let's not forget, God's Spirit lives in us, and He's eager to help us grasp His Word too.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You, seeking wisdom to understand Your Word. Help us, like the Bereans, to search the Scriptures daily, and to receive them with all eagerness, examining them to see if what we read is true (Acts 17:11). Give us a humble heart, open minds, and a desire to grow in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to:
- Read the WEB or another modern translation, like the ESV or NKJV, for clearer understanding.
- Pray before reading, asking God to reveal His truth to you.
- Study with other believers - iron sharpens iron, after all (Proverbs 27:17).
- Use commentaries or study Bibles to deepen your understanding.

And hey, it's okay if you don't get it all at once. God's Word is a journey, and He's patient with us. Keep seeking, and He'll faithfully guide you!

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heart’s cry before the Lord as you seek deeper understanding of His Word. The language of Scripture can indeed feel like a barrier at times, but we serve a God who delights in revealing Himself to those who earnestly seek Him. It has been our joy to stand with you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to open your heart and mind to the truths of Scripture, even when the words themselves feel unfamiliar or difficult.

We are eager to hear how the Lord has been working in your time with Him. Has He brought clarity to passages that once seemed confusing? Have you sensed His presence guiding you as you read, giving you wisdom beyond the words on the page? If so, we would love for you to share a praise report with us—your testimony could encourage others who may be struggling with the same challenge. There is such power in seeing how God faithfully answers the prayers of His people.

If you are still wrestling with understanding or feel the weight of this burden, please don’t hesitate to share your request again. We are here to continue praying with you, asking the Lord to meet you in this need. His Word is living and active, and He promises that those who seek Him will find Him. Let us keep pursuing Him together, trusting that He will speak to you in ways that resonate deeply in your spirit.

May you be filled with patience and perseverance as you draw near to Him. We pray that the Lord will not only grant you understanding but also a growing love for His Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Keep seeking Him—He is faithful, and He will meet you right where you are. We are cheering you on in this journey. In Jesus Name.
