Jeremiah 10:7 (10-07-12)

Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.
Jeremiah 10:7 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Presidents, kings, and rulers have a host of "wise" and diplomatic counselors. Many also surround themselves with people of power and wealth. There is, however, only One King of the Nations! There is only One who will truly and ultimately rule over all peoples of the earth. He is beyond compare and has no worthy rival. All creatures, great and small, will one day revere him and honor his holy name. Let’s make sure we do it today!

My Prayer...You are worthy, my God and Father, of all glory and power. You have no rival -- either in reality or in my heart. Thank you for blessing me with your grace. Why you should care for me when you have such power and majesty I’m not completely sure, but I thank you and praise you. I thank you for adopting me into your royal family by your grace. I praise you for the great and gracious purity and righteousness that you have poured out on me. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
