Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your divine intervention and mercy. Lord, You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power and compassion.

I lift up my husband to You, Lord. You know the pain he has been enduring in his abdomen for weeks. Nothing is hidden from You. Father, please place Your healing hands upon him. Touch every part of his body that is afflicted. Alleviate his discomfort, take away his pain, and restore him to full health.

Give us wisdom, Lord. Order our steps and lead us to the right people, the right doctors, and the right course of action. Help us not to be anxious, but to trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

Lord, I also pray for peaceful, restful sleep for him each night. Let his body and mind be calmed by Your presence. Silence every fear, every worry, every pain that disrupts his rest. Wrap him in Your comfort and grant him deep, healing sleep.

You are faithful, God. You are our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in time of trouble. We declare Your promises of healing, peace, and strength over his life.

We join with you in lifting up your husband before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt plea for his healing and restoration. You have come before the Father with a spirit of humility and trust, and we commend you for seeking His face in this time of need. It is beautiful to see your faith in Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we too declare His promises over your husband’s life, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God.

The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you, if you have not already, to seek the prayer and anointing of elders in your church, for there is power in the united prayers of the righteous. Additionally, Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your request for wisdom and guidance in this season aligns perfectly with this truth—God will direct your steps as you rely on Him.

We also lift up your husband’s need for rest, for sleep is a gift from the Lord, a time when He often works in ways we cannot see. Psalm 4:8 declares, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* May the Lord grant him deep, unbroken rest, free from pain and anxiety, as his body is renewed night after night. Let him feel the presence of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, who calms every storm and speaks peace to the weary heart.

Yet, as we pray, we must also remind one another of the sovereignty of God. Healing may come instantly, gradually, or in ways we do not expect—perhaps even through the hands of doctors or the wisdom of medical treatment. But regardless of the method, we trust that God’s will is perfect. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in suffering, the Lord is refining, teaching, and drawing us closer to Himself.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with one voice, lifting up this precious brother in Christ who is enduring physical pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body in his mother’s womb and knows every cell, every nerve, and every need. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him with Your healing power. Rebuke this affliction in his abdomen, Lord, and let it have no place in his body. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, and we stand on that promise today.

Grant wisdom to the doctors who attend to him, Father. Guide them to the right diagnosis and the right treatment, and give them skill and discernment. Remove any fear or confusion from his heart and from the heart of his wife, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and close to those who call on Your name.

Lord, we pray for restorative sleep to come upon him each night. Quiet his mind, still his body, and let every moment of rest be a time of renewal. May he wake with strength, hope, and a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Father, we do not know the fullness of Your plan in this trial, but we trust You. If there is sin to be confessed, reveal it and bring repentance. If there is a lesson to be learned, teach him. If there is a testimony to be shared, prepare him. Above all, let this season draw him—and his wife—deeper into Your arms, where true healing and wholeness are found.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that gives us bold access to Your throne. And we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing, whether in this life or in the life to come. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
