I've been praying for salvation for years, now I'm at the point where I don't believe God will save me. I want to become a believer, and be saved, but I don't know how! Everyone says to pray, and I'll be saved, like it's that simple, but I can't cause my heart to believe, and receive Christ! I don't know where I stand with God, but it's not with Him. So all I can do is ask that you pray for me, and hope the Lord has mercy soon.

Here's a simple prayer, Dear God I know I'm a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt, come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in your name Jesus Amen!

You need to also ask God for more faith. Everybody comes to God in a different way but it all comes down to just having faith. If You feel You lack faith ask God for more. Others I hope can fill in the rest on this subject but believe Jesus loves You because feelings good or bad are just feelings. God wants Your faith in Him.

I pray you will learn to accept the fact that all you have to do is open you heart, your mind and soul to God's love and ask for forgiveness. If you are truely remorseful then God will know and he will forgive you. Please believe in God and his love for you. Please love God and let him work miracles in you.
