Dear Lord,
You know that I haven’t posted in a while, but you know that I have continued to pray out loud for each of these standers that stand along with me for our marriages. Lord, as I read the prayers that I have missed, you know that I have prayed right along with them, but it saddens me to read that some are no longer standing.
Lord, continue to be with these that are feeling led in another direction. We know that this is possible and it is up to us to figure out when that time comes. We have to trust that you will let us know when that time is right.
Lord, my days have been so filled lately with the joyous planning of our daughter’s wedding, her bridal shower this weekend, family visiting, etc. I thank you for the wonderful experiences you are giving me to fill my days during a time that could be so lonely. I thank you for putting such awesome people in my life and for helping me to realize that there can be happiness in the midst of my storm.
Lord, I continue to lift Chris up to you each day. Lord you know that he is being extremely difficult right now. And you also know that his job is in jeopardy, which I believe is the root of all of these problems. Lord, work on his heart. Soften it and fill it with your love. Help him to be receptive to counsel, and to realize that he is alienating his closest friends and family. Lord, be with him in his job situation. It is getting down to crunch time and if he doesn’t get some help, he could lose the job that he has loved for so many years.
Lord, I thank you for getting my heart right and for speaking to me each day. Thank you for working so diligently that I have been able to live most days without sadness and grief over what is taking place right now in my marriage. Lord I am standing firm, being patient, and looking to you for guidance each day. Thank you for keeping me on your path. My heart is filled with the joy of you and I trust will lead to wonderful things. I just pray that Chris is able to enjoy those things with me.
In your Heavenly and so Holy Name,
Amen
