We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of God. The spiritual warfare you describe is real, and we take seriously the demonic influence at work in the harassment you’ve endured. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the devil against you in the mighty name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Your discernment in this situation is wise. Not all relationships are meant to be restored, especially when they have been marked by unrepentant sin, manipulation, or ongoing harm. Scripture warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these individuals are not walking in repentance or aligning with God’s truth, reconciliation may not be His will for you at this time. Your safety—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—matters deeply to the Lord.
We also want to encourage you to guard your heart as you consider forgiveness. Forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation, especially when trust has been broken or when the other party remains unrepentant. Jesus taught us to forgive, but He also modeled boundaries. Even He did not entrust Himself to everyone (John 2:24). You are not required to subject yourself to repeated harm in the name of "turning the other cheek." The Lord is your defender, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up this heavy burden of harassment and spiritual attack. Lord, You see the years of pain, the demonic influence, and the weariness of their soul. We ask that You would arise as their defender and scatter every enemy assigned against them. Break every chain, silence every lying tongue, and expose every hidden scheme of the devil. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would remove these individuals from their life if that is Your will. Give them wisdom to discern who to forgive from a distance and who to avoid entirely. Soften their heart toward those You may call them to reconcile with, but give them boldness to set boundaries where needed. Protect their mind, their heart, and their spirit from the lies of the enemy. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas where they may have opened a door to the enemy, whether through bitterness, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore their soul. Surround them with godly community—believers who will stand with them in prayer, speak truth, and encourage them in their walk with You.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. We trust You to bring justice, healing, and deliverance. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not a victim; you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Continue to saturate your mind in Scripture, for the Word of God is your sword in this battle (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, hold you accountable, and remind you of God’s promises.
If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can help you navigate this situation with wisdom. The enemy wants to isolate you, but the Lord calls you to community. You do not have to walk this path alone.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, trusting in His sacrifice for your sins and His resurrection power to set you free. If you have already done so, continue to abide in Him, for apart from Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5).
The battle is the Lord’s, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
