2 habits people have, one, they think because THEY feel a certain way about something, they don't just admit that that's their viewpoint, they state it as a fact for everyone,{and think someone who disagrees is "off".} and 2, they take one statement out of the Bible, and discard all other statements and apply it to any and every situation under the sun. Case in point-- God said after Adam was created,"It's not good for the man to be alone." . Note the words, "THE man."NOT every man and woman who was ever born since then.We read other passages in the Bible where God approves of it, for certain reasons.When Moses went to Mount Sanai to receive the 10 commandments,did he take a whole football stadium worth of people with him?Do you think if God intended him to have "company" going up there,He would have said, take them all up there? But no, He sent him there, THEN he went down by himself to tell them.Jesus went to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil,by Himself, He didn't take a whole football stadium worth of people with Him.I don't think we can isolate one sentence in the Bible, and apply it to our own feelings, or accept it because it "sounds good" to us.I think something like liking or disliking being alone is a matter of personal taste, not a "right or wrong" type of thing"Now me, I don't like the other extreme of being alone,too much activity involving too many people.You can't focus on things,including Godly things, if people are always nagging you with something.{And it's not just work, either,}It's a matter of personal taste,but of course if someone would rather be stuck in a traffic jam on the L. A. freeway,or in the N.Y. subway at rush hour,if they're that desperate to have others around them that they want to be stuck in a traffic jam for 2 hours, I feel sorry for them. As for me, however....{Oh, and I don't drink coffee, either. If I crave something bad for me, I'd prefer soda.Another first.}
