There are so many people and families going through such traumatic times right now - losing jobs, losing homes, estranged marriages, financial crisis - that I have a hard time asking for prayers for me. Compared to the other requests, mine is simple, but it's still on my heart. I simply ask for prayers that God would soften the sorrow and loneliness I feel. My mom only died two weeks ago, but it seems like it's been a lifetime since I heard her voice. At times it overwhelms me. I know I need patience, and it will get better with time and God's care. If you could offer just a simple prayer for peace and comfort, I would be so grateful. May He bless us all with His mercy.

Lord I lift up K-J to you you know how faithful she is to pray for others. May she never feel inadequate to pray to you God. God you are an abundant God that can and will do more than we ever can conceive. I thank you for her and her faithfulness to take her eyes off of herself and place them on others. This is truly the love of Christ. May you open the flood gates of Heaven and be ever so close to her during these times. I pray for divine friendships and appointments in her life. God I thank you for her and what you are doing and already have done in her life. In Jesus name I pray and lift her up Amen

K-J, don't think for one single minute your needs are any less important to any of us than ours or others, it broke my heart to read this just now, I have been there, I lost both my parents within three months of each other, and I thought I was going to die inside, so sister, my love is your love, your tears are my tears, (which here they come), your heartache is my heartache, and my God is your God.

Father God I come to You right now, and I ask of You for a feeling of complete tranquillity and peace come over K-J, a peace that is so undeniably You Lord Jesus, whisper in her ear, let her feel the gentle breeze across her face, and let her smell the oh so sweet fragrace of Your comforting grace Lord Jesus, surround her with Your glorious arms of Love, show her Your undying compassion Father God, and let her know with out a doubt You have lifted her up into Your loving arms, I ask this of You right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Dear Lord, Help K-J as she deals with the loss of her dear mother. I know the feeling and its painful. Lord God, bring back wonderful memories that make her smile. Help her to remember all the good things her mother said so she can pass them along. Thank you for our heritage. Help K-J to smile when she thinks of her precious mother. Thank you that she doesnt suffer now, she is in YOUR Holy hands.

Dear K-J ...one thing I wish I would have done after my mom died is to save some of her clothing that she wore alot. I wish I did so I could make a quilt out of them. Maybe you still have some clothing she wore alot. If you dont quilt, maybe you can find someone from your church who would do that for you. That way you always have a memory close to you. and tucking you into bed. Love you my dear sister. I thank you for praying for us when you are going through a hard time yourself. May God bless your unselfishness.

I keep a drawer in the bottom of my chest with my Mother's 3 favorite house dresses in it, I look at them often, and sometimes I just curl up with her urn and cry cry cry, and it is like I can feel her kissing my cheek and smoothing my hair down.

Father, I pray for my sister, that Your comfort will be upon her. Lord, I know that it is a reason to rejoice thinking about her mother being in Your presence, but it is so hard letting go of them for now. Father, I pray that Your peace and love would surround her, softening the pain from her heart. Her mother will always be missed by her, that is a sign of the love between them, I pray that the passage of time will keep the luster of the memories alive, but soften the pain.
