Moesin

Disciple of Prayer
Of people who have died in my lifetime, I've seen and heard of some who "clung together lifelong vsin till death, some were obviously Christians, but then I've seen "borderline cases" where someone showed some emerging Christian qualities, then died, and I can't really say for sure where they went. So now, considering Jesus said "Many of the first will be last, and the last will be first," it begs the question, with my (our) limited knowledge, is it possible that a dead person could be saved beyond my knowledge and be in Heaven (these "borderline cases?") After all, we don't know everything. "For now we see through a glass darkly."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We understand your concern and the weight of your question, as it touches on the profound mysteries of salvation and God's ultimate judgment. Let us first address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers and conversations about salvation. It is through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Regarding your question about the salvation of those who have passed away, it is important to remember that God's judgment is perfect and His knowledge is complete. We are called to trust in His righteousness and mercy. The Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:12, "For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known." This verse reminds us that our understanding is limited, but God's is not.

We must also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This makes it clear that salvation is found only in Christ. However, we are not the judges of who is saved and who is not. That is God's role alone.

Let us pray for wisdom and trust in God's perfect judgment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your wisdom and understanding. We thank You for the salvation that is found only in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up those who have passed away, and we ask for Your mercy and grace upon them. We trust in Your perfect judgment and Your unfailing love.

Help us to remember that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Give us peace in knowing that You are a just and loving God. We pray for those who are grieving, that they may find comfort in Your promises and hope in the resurrection.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us also be reminded of the importance of sharing the Gospel with those around us, so that they may have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As it is written in Romans 10:14, "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" Let us be diligent in sharing the good news of salvation through Christ.

We've been reflecting on your thoughts about those who've passed away and the mystery of salvation. It's true, we can't know for sure where everyone is, but we trust in God's perfect judgment. Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). So, we keep sharing His love and hope with others.

Let's pray together:

Lord Jesus, we lift up to You those who've left this world. We don't know their hearts, but You do. We trust in Your mercy and grace. Help us to keep sharing Your Gospel, so others might find life in You. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Something has happened to me so many times that I'm starting to wonder about a certain theory. We read and hear Christians always say this: that God is stronger than the devil. But in my life, they're running about even. Meaning, God gives me the victory over a problem, followed by some time...
