First, I think the 2 of them sometimes go together. If someone "strikes out" with something, they wouldn't blame someone in their "clique",so of course they'll blame someone who's "dispensable," who means nothing to them. Also, if their ego is bruised, instead of look at their own mistakes and shortcomings, they blame the other person, or even their whole race, gender, or nationalitity. Now the examples I give are not what" the world" gives, because the pendulum of trends moves towards whatever the thought of the day is.First, God created me as a certain race, gender and nationality,it was His will, so anyone with hostility towards me for being what I am is really in rebellion against God.So here goes--I get around, and also drive many people, and there's one Jamaican who is always badmouthing Americans, while I'm sitting right there next to her. Why, because she's having a hard time "making it" here,so instead of looking at maybe the foreigners come here not prepared, she "blames" the Americans for it.I heard other "foreigners" talk this way too.I find this rude and offensive that she has an American sitting next to her driving her ,and she's arrogantly speaking hatefully against my nationalitiy. One day I'll tell her to get a Jamaican driver. Then, women. Maybe they had 3 bad experiences with men , or they got rejected, so now "all" men have to hear these anti-male cracks continuously. Again, as a male, I find these generalized statements untrue, and offensive.150 years ago, black people were slaves,so nowadays every time a white person disagrees with them on a completely non racial issue, according to the ones I've heard, if a white person disagrees with a black person on anything, they're racist.{which, if untrue, is slander.}But it seems to be the nature of the unsaved to soothe their bruised egos by blaming another.Just look at the Democrats,Trump won when they didn't expect him to, so now they've been slandering him ever since. So the question becomes,is scapegoating someone, throwing mud at them to sooth your ego, a sin, especially if it doesn't apply to that specific person?{Making it a form of prejudice}I would think that's sinful. As for me, God created me as I am, so if certain groups don't like me for it, God accepts me,so as is in the Word, if God is for for me, who can be against me?
