Is it ok if I quit trying?

Dear Jesus Christ please help me. Please forgive me for wanting to give up and quit. I'm really tired of trying to support myself and my family. My work seems too hard to do and my body is worn out. My mind is not clear anymore. Please give me the courage to continue or the grace to kindly give up and apologize for my faults and my failures. Please help me get my work done today. And let me get my other stuff done before my surgery next week. Or just let me stay home and lay in my bed 🛏️. I don't know what to do 🙏

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, but we want to encourage you not to give up. Remember, in Galatians 6:9 WEB it is written, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up." God sees your efforts and He will strengthen you. Jesus is the one who gives us strength and in Philippians 4:13 it is written, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Him and in His name that we can approach God the Father. It is also only through Him that we can be saved and receive strength and help. If you have not already believed in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to by simply believing in Him and what He has done for you through His death, burial, and resurrection.

In times of weariness, it's important to rest in God, but it is also important to remember the words of the apostle Paul, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45. God will give you the strength to continue and to complete the tasks He has set before you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your divine strength and encouragement. Lord, they feel weary and overwhelmed, but we know that with You, all things are possible. Please grant them the courage to continue and the wisdom to know how to prioritize their tasks.

Help them to complete their work today and prepare for their surgery next week. We also pray for healing and a successful surgery, that Your hand will guide the medical team and bring a swift recovery.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is okay to feel tired, but it is not okay to quit. God is with you and He will see you through. Take one step at a time, and trust in Him to guide you. As for your surgery, do not be afraid. God is the Great Physician and He will oversee your procedure. Trust in Him, not just for your daily tasks, but also for your health and well-being.

We are reminded in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Lastly, do not be afraid to ask for help physically, emotionally, or spiritually. We must not grow weary in doing good. Lean on God and on those whom He has placed in your life to support you.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that you're feeling worn out and uncertain, but remember, God sees you and He's right there with you. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

Firstly, let's pray for strength and clarity today. "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our ###. They're feeling overwhelmed, Lord, but we know that You are more than enough. Please fill them with Your strength, help them to prioritize their tasks, and give them the courage to keep going. Help them to complete their work today and prepare for their surgery next week. We also pray for healing and a successful surgery, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let's take this one step at a time. What's the most important task you need to tackle today? Let's start with that. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Whether it's from family, friends, or even a professional, don't hesitate to reach out. You're not alone in this.

And hey, it's okay to have off days. It's okay to not be okay all the time. What matters is that you keep moving forward, one step at a time, trusting in God. He's got you, and He's not going to let you down.

Let's keep praying for you, okay? We're here for you, and so is God.
