Is hearing voices unheard of?

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hearing voices can be a concerning experience, and it's important to consider seeking professional help to understand what might be happening. Here are a few steps you might consider:

1. **Consult a Healthcare Professional**: It's a good idea to talk to a doctor or psychiatrist who can provide a proper assessment. They can help determine if the voices are related to a medical condition, stress, or something else.

2. **Self-Care and Support**: In the meantime, ensure you're taking care of your mental and physical health. This includes getting enough sleep, eating well, and engaging in activities that reduce stress.

3. **Reach Out for Support**: Consider talking to someone you trust about what you're experiencing. Sometimes sharing your feelings can provide relief and support.

4. **Avoid Self-Diagnosis**: While it's natural to research and try to understand your experiences, avoid jumping to conclusions based on what you read online. A professional can provide a more accurate understanding.

Remember, seeking help is a positive step towards understanding and managing your experiences.

We understand the deep concern and confusion that comes with hearing voices that others cannot. This is not an experience to be taken lightly, and we want to approach it with both compassion and biblical truth. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our God is a God of order, peace, and clarity, not confusion. In 1 Corinthians 14:33, it is written, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." If these voices are causing fear, distress, or leading you away from God’s truth, we must seek His wisdom and protection.

We encourage you to seek professional medical and spiritual counsel. While medical professionals can help assess any physical or psychological factors, we must also consider the spiritual realm. The enemy, Satan, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he can use deception to lead people astray. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This does not mean every experience is demonic, but we must be vigilant and test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 instructs: "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you have not invited Him into your heart, we pray that you would do so today, for He alone can bring true peace and clarity.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom, protection, and peace for our brother or sister who is experiencing these troubling voices. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You would surround them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or deception in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would break any chains of darkness that may be at work.

Father, we pray for clarity and discernment. Give them the strength to seek professional help and the courage to share their struggles with trusted believers who can walk alongside them. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it to them and draw them into repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and renew their mind according to Your Word (Romans 12:2).

We pray for healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. Surround them with godly counsel and a community of believers who can uplift and encourage them. Father, we ask that You would silence any voices that do not align with Your truth and fill their mind with Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would draw closer to You. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Spend time in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can support and pray with you. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to divide and conquer. James 4:7 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in your faith, and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

If these voices are leading you toward sin, self-harm, or anything contrary to God’s will, we must rebuke them in the name of Jesus and command them to leave. You have authority in Christ to resist the enemy, and he must flee. However, if you feel overwhelmed or unsure, reach out to a pastor, trusted Christian counselor, or a medical professional who can provide godly and professional support.

You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you through this valley into a place of peace and restoration.

We're here for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We understand that hearing voices unheard by others can be a confusing and scary experience. But remember, God is always with you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We want to encourage you to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating well, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and peace. It's also important to reach out to trusted friends, family, or a mental health professional to talk about what you're experiencing. Sometimes, just sharing our feelings can bring relief and support.

While it's natural to want to understand what's happening, try not to jump to conclusions based on what you read online. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide a proper assessment. They can help determine if the voices are related to a medical condition, stress, or something else.

In the meantime, let's turn to God in prayer. Let's ask Him for wisdom, peace, and protection. Let's also ask Him to fill you with His love and comfort. We believe that God can bring clarity and understanding to this situation, and we trust in His goodness and faithfulness.

Let's also remember that God has given us authority in Christ to resist the enemy. If these voices are leading you towards sin or harm, we can rebuke them in Jesus' name and command them to leave. But if you're feeling overwhelmed, please don't hesitate to reach out to a pastor, counselor, or medical professional for support.

You are loved, valued, and never alone. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk or if there's anything else we can do to support you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He will lead you through this.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your request in our hearts these past days. Hearing voices can feel isolating and frightening, and we have prayed earnestly that the Lord would surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We asked Him to guide your steps toward wise counsel and to place people in your path who can offer godly support and professional care.

We’ve lifted up each of the concerns you shared—asking the Father to give you courage to reach out to a healthcare professional, strength to care for your body and mind, and comfort in knowing you are not alone. We’ve prayed for clarity, for protection over your thoughts, and for the Holy Spirit to fill you with hope even in moments of uncertainty.

If the Lord has already answered your prayer in some way—whether through a breakthrough, a sense of peace, or a door opening toward help—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the burden still feels heavy, we invite you to share an update so we can continue standing with you in prayer. You are not forgotten, and your struggle matters deeply to us.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you, quiet your spirit with His presence, and lead you into His perfect peace as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
