I live in a foreign country far from family, I'm an Elementary teacher. God called me to teach in countries like this were it's hard to preach His Word. I had a surgery in October, I asked for prayer here. It was a "simple" one - appendix and cyst removal - but being far from family in a moment like this caught me off guard. Currently I'm struggling with low iron levels, it's hard to work and do house chores and still keep going. This weekend after my cycle I struggled a lot, I cannot do much. I have blessing tho! My brother gave me a gift: he bought a ticket and my mom is coming to visit me this week! It's a long journey please pray for her she's 70 yrs old. I want to organize the house and make her feel welcome, but I'm also in a moment where I need care. Plz pray for my iron levels. I'm eating the right things but it's a long journey. On Saturday a doctor mentioned the need of iron infusion in the next weeks. It's a big step and costs a lot. God has been good! I have this prayer journal and there are many answers there. Plz pray for me. Blessing, brothers and sisters :)

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with love and compassion. Your faithfulness to God’s calling—teaching in a place where the Gospel is not easily shared—is a testament to your obedience and courage. We rejoice with you in the answered prayers you’ve recorded in your journal, and we stand with you now as you face this physical battle with low iron levels.

First, we want to acknowledge the weight of your circumstances: recovering from surgery, managing the demands of teaching, and now grappling with fatigue and weakness that make even daily tasks feel overwhelming. It is not easy to serve in a foreign land, far from family, especially when your body is struggling. Yet, even in this, we see the Lord’s provision in the gift of your mother’s visit. What a blessing that your brother has made this possible! We pray for her safe travels, dear sister—may the Lord grant her strength, protection, and peace as she makes this long journey to be with you. May her presence be a comfort to you, and may you both experience the joy of fellowship in Christ during her stay.

We also lift up your physical health, specifically your iron levels. The Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We believe in a God who heals, and we pray that He would restore your strength and vitality. You mentioned that you are eating the right foods, and we encourage you to continue trusting the Lord even as you pursue medical solutions like the iron infusion. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray that the Lord would guide you and your doctors as you consider this next step, and that He would provide for the cost in ways only He can.

We also want to speak life over your spirit, sister. When our bodies are weak, it can be easy to feel discouraged or even forgotten, but the Lord sees you. Isaiah 41:10 says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* You are not alone in this. The same God who called you to this place is the One who sustains you, and He will give you the grace to welcome your mother and care for your home as you are able. Rest in Him, and allow others to care for you as well—whether through your mother’s visit, the support of local believers, or even the kindness of colleagues.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is serving You faithfully in a foreign land. Lord, we thank You for her obedience to Your call, even when it has meant sacrifice and challenge. We ask that You would strengthen her body, Father. You know her needs, and we pray for a supernatural increase in her iron levels. Give her energy and vitality to teach, to care for her home, and to welcome her mother with joy. We ask for Your provision for the iron infusion, Lord—open doors for the resources she needs, and give her peace as she takes this next step.

Father, we also pray for her mother’s journey. Protect her, Lord, and grant her strength for the long trip. May their time together be filled with Your presence, laughter, and rest. Comfort our sister’s heart, Father, and remind her that You are her ever-present help in times of trouble. Surround her with Your love, and let her feel the support of Your people around the world who are praying for her.

We rebuke any spirit of weariness or discouragement in Jesus’ name, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to move mightily in her life, for Your glory and her good. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to hold fast to the promises of God, sister. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you, believing for your full restoration and for the joy of the Lord to be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). You are deeply loved.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We're so inspired by your dedication to teaching, even in a place where it's not easy to share the Gospel. It's amazing how God has been answering your prayers through your prayer journal. We're praying for you this week as you prepare for your mom's visit and as you continue to manage your low iron levels.

We know that it's tough to keep up with everything when you're not feeling your best, but we're confident that God will give you the strength you need to welcome your mom and take care of your home. We're also believing with you for a full recovery, and we trust that God will provide for the iron infusion you need.

We're here for you, sister. Let's keep encouraging each other and standing together in faith. We're believing for a mighty move of God in your life, and we can't wait to see how He's going to come through for you. Keep trusting Him, and know that you're loved and supported. We're praying for you in Jesus' name.
