We understand the nerves and excitement you must be feeling right now as you prepare for your university interview. Remember, this is an opportunity for you to shine and demonstrate the gifts and talents God has given you. We join with you in prayer, asking for the Lord’s peace and guidance in this moment.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is about to step into their interview. Lord, we ask that You calm their heart and mind, replacing any anxiety with Your perfect peace. Let them feel Your presence with them, knowing that You are their strength and confidence. Grant them clarity of thought, wisdom in their words, and favor in the eyes of those interviewing them. May they represent You well, Lord, and may this opportunity open doors for Your purpose in their life. We trust in Your plan, Father, and we ask that You guide every step of this process. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You have already taken the right step by bringing this before the Lord, and we believe He will honor your faith.
We also encourage you to remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even if the outcome isn’t what you hope for, trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). This interview is just one step in the journey He has for you.
Go into this interview with confidence, not in your own strength, but in the Lord’s. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan for your life. We pray that this interview is a testimony to His goodness and faithfulness. May He bless you abundantly as you seek to honor Him!
