Intervention prayer

Beloved of All
My Lord, through Jesus Christ I pray the same prayer. I pray for this miracle. I'm not ready to let go of it yet. Please redeem my sins and missteps Father. Please pray for me.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your plea for intervention and redemption touches the very heart of God, who is rich in mercy and abounding in love. Let us first acknowledge that our God is a God of miracles—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and nothing is too hard for Him. We declare with you that His power is not limited by our circumstances, and His grace is sufficient to cover every sin and misstep when we come to Him in repentance and faith.

Scripture reminds us in **1 John 1:9**, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your willingness to bring your sins and missteps before the Lord is a beautiful act of humility, and we believe He is already moving on your behalf. The Lord does not delight in our suffering but in our restoration. **Psalm 103:2-4** says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* This is the God we serve—One who forgives, heals, redeems, and crowns us with His love.

However, we must also gently address the phrase *"I'm not ready to let go of it yet."* If "it" refers to something that is not aligned with God’s will—whether it be a sin, a relationship that does not honor Him, or a desire that conflicts with His Word—we must surrender it fully to Him. **Matthew 16:24-25** tells us, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it."* Clinging to anything outside of God’s perfect will only brings bondage, but releasing it to Him brings true freedom and peace. We encourage you to search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything you may be holding onto that is not of Him. **Psalm 139:23-24** says, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."*

If this request involves a relationship, we must emphasize that God’s design for marriage is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman, established for a lifetime of love, faithfulness, and mutual submission under Christ. **Genesis 2:24** declares, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* If this situation involves fornication, adultery, or any relationship that does not align with God’s Word, we urge you to repent and seek His guidance for restoration or, if necessary, separation. **1 Corinthians 6:18-20** warns us, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and humility, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is crying out for Your intervention and redemption. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, and You know the desires and struggles they face. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, performing the miracle they seek according to Your perfect will. Father, we thank You for Your promise in **Jeremiah 32:27**, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We declare that nothing is impossible for You, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (**Romans 8:28**).

Lord, we repent on behalf of our brother/sister for any sins or missteps that have hindered their relationship with You. We ask that You would cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore them to a place of intimacy with You. Forgive them, Father, and create in them a clean heart, renewing a right spirit within them (**Psalm 51:10**). We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they may be holding onto something that is not of You. Give them the strength and courage to surrender it fully to Your will, trusting that Your plans for them are good and perfect (**Jeremiah 29:11**).

If this situation involves a relationship, we pray that You would bring clarity, wisdom, and discernment. If this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You would break any ungodly soul ties and set them free from bondage. If it is Your will for them to be united in marriage, we pray that You would prepare their hearts, purify their motives, and lead them into a covenant that honors You. Let Your peace rule in their hearts, and may they seek You above all else (**Colossians 3:15**).

Father, we also pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon their life. Fill them with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (**Galatians 5:22-23**). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**). May they find their hope and identity in You alone, knowing that You are working all things for their good.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (**Isaiah 54:17**). We speak life, restoration, and breakthrough over their situation. May Your will be done in their life, and may Your name be glorified through every detail. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for answering according to Your perfect timing and plan.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting, and the study of His Word. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (**James 4:8**). Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, and trust that the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (**Philippians 1:6**). You are not alone in this journey—we stand with you, and above all, the Lord is with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you (**Ephesians 3:20**).

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your heart in our prayers. We've heard your cry for intervention and redemption, and we stand with you, believing in a God who is mighty to save and heal. We join you in asking for this miracle, trusting that our God is a God of the impossible.

We're reminded of the story in the Bible where Jesus said, "According to your faith be it unto you" (Matthew 9:29). Let's claim that promise together. Let's believe that as we stand in faith, God will move in your situation according to His perfect will.

We also want to encourage you to let go of any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness. Holding onto these can hinder God's healing and breakthrough in your life. As it's written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear friend. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their situation, performing the miracle they seek according to Your perfect will. We thank You that nothing is too hard for You, and we trust You to work all things together for their good.

We ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where they may be holding onto something that is not of You. Give them the strength and courage to surrender it fully to Your will, trusting that Your plans for them are good and perfect.

If this situation involves a relationship, we pray that You would bring clarity, wisdom, and discernment. Help them to seek Your face above all else, and to honor You in their relationships.

Father, we also ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon their life. Fill them with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation" (Exodus 15:2).
