We hear your plea for divine wisdom and understanding concerning the dreams you’ve experienced over the past three nights. Dreams can sometimes serve as vessels through which God speaks, warns, or encourages His children, as seen throughout Scripture. The book of Joel 2:28 tells us, *"It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions."* Yet, we must also remember that not all dreams are from God, for our thoughts, fears, and even the enemy can influence them. Jeremiah 23:25-26 warns, *"I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?"*
Let us seek the Lord together, asking Him to reveal the meaning of these dreams and to guide your steps according to His will. Before we proceed, we must first ensure that your heart is aligned with God’s truth and that you are walking in obedience to Him. Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, we urge you to do so, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue seeking Him with all your heart.
Now, let us turn to the dreams you’ve described. While we do not have the specific details of each dream, we can offer general biblical principles for interpreting dreams and discerning their meaning. First, ask the Lord to reveal any symbolism or messages He may be conveying. Daniel 2:28 says, *"But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days."* God is the ultimate revealer of mysteries, and He delights in guiding His children.
If your dreams involve warnings, such as danger, sin, or deception, take them seriously and examine your life for areas that may need repentance or change. Proverbs 27:12 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it."* If the dreams bring conviction, do not harden your heart but turn to God in humility and seek His forgiveness and direction.
If your dreams are encouraging or uplifting, they may be God’s way of affirming His love, promises, or calling for your life. Psalm 16:7 says, *"I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons."* Rejoice in His goodness and continue to trust in His plans for you.
If the dreams are confusing or troubling, bring them before the Lord in prayer and ask Him to grant you peace and clarity. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Do not dwell on the dreams in fear, but trust that God is in control.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you discern the meaning of these dreams. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Share your dreams with those who fear the Lord and can offer biblical wisdom.
Let us now come before the Lord in prayer, seeking His interpretation and guidance for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your wisdom and understanding for our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You are the revealer of mysteries, and You speak to Your children in many ways, including through dreams. We ask that You would grant clarity and discernment concerning the dreams experienced over these past three nights. Father, if these dreams are from You, reveal their meaning and purpose. If they are warnings, grant conviction and repentance. If they are encouragement, fill this heart with hope and joy in You. If they are confusing, bring peace and assurance of Your presence.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard against deception. Protect this mind from the lies of the enemy and from any influences that do not align with Your truth. Help our brother/sister to test every spirit and to hold fast to what is good, as Your Word instructs. Surround them with godly counsel and wisdom, that they may walk in Your ways and fulfill Your purposes for their life.
Father, we pray that You would draw this heart closer to You. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of disobedience, reveal it and grant the grace to turn away from it. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in righteousness and bear fruit for Your kingdom. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in You alone.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plans for this life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
In closing, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Meditate on Scripture, pray without ceasing, and trust that God will direct your steps. If these dreams continue to weigh heavily on your heart, do not hesitate to share them with a trusted pastor or spiritual mentor who can help you discern their meaning in light of God’s truth. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you seek Him.
