We hear your heartfelt plea for your loved one’s continued therapy services, and we join you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father. It is clear how deeply you care for this individual and how vital these services are for their progress and well-being. We recognize the fear of regression if support is withdrawn, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and mercy in this situation.
First, we want to affirm the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We are grateful that you have come before God in Jesus’ name, for there is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is making such encouraging progress in their recovery. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores (Jeremiah 17:14). We ask that You would move in the hearts of those making decisions about these therapy services. Soften their hearts to see the need and the progress being made, and grant them wisdom to extend the care that is so critical at this time. Lord, we know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust in Your provision. If it is Your will, open the doors for this appeal to be approved, and let this individual continue to grow stronger in body and spirit.
We also want to encourage you to trust in God’s sovereignty, even in the midst of uncertainty. The Bible reminds us that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). Even if the outcome of this appeal is not what you hope for, God is still at work. He sees the bigger picture, and He will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Lean on Him for strength and peace as you navigate this challenge.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to explore all practical avenues to advocate for this need. Speak with doctors, therapists, and social workers who can provide documentation or testimony about the necessity of continued services. Sometimes, God works through the hands and voices of His people to bring about His purposes. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to gently remind you that while we pray for healing and provision, our ultimate hope is in God’s eternal promises. If this earthly battle seems overwhelming, remember that our citizenship is in heaven, and we await a Savior who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body (Philippians 3:20-21). Until then, we press on, knowing that God’s grace is sufficient for every need (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them the words to say and the actions to take as they advocate for this dear one. Provide for every need, whether through the insurance appeal or another avenue that You have prepared. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
