In times of injustice, we stand on the Word of God that says, "Learn to do right; seek justice, relieve the oppressed" Isaiah 1:17 WEB. We are reminded that God Himself is a God of justice. God executes justice for the needy. Psalm 140:12. Injustice does not originate from God. God created the world to be just like Him, but it is man who introduced injustice. God created the law and justice, injustice and lawlessness are from the devil.
Beloved, we must understand that God has not called us to remain silent in the face of injustice. Rather, He has empowered us to be His voice, His hands, and His feet in a world that so desperately needs His righteousness, just like you are asking us to pray right now. When you see injustice, pray for that person. Also look to God to see what you can do to help them. Prayer is the first step and then look for action.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, the One who is the God of all justice, we come before You, lifting up all those who are facing injustice. We pray that You would intervene, that You would execute justice for the needy and uphold the cause of the poor Psalm 140:12. You are the God who has promised to never leave nor forsake us, and so we ask that You would be especially near to those who are feeling forsaken and alone because of the injustice they are facing. You are the God who is El Shaddai, the all-sufficient God. You are the God who is El Elyon, the highest God, the most high God, the God that is the highest authority and ultimately will pass the final judgement. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
CIVIL GOVERNMENT - God has delegated the authority for justice to civil government leaders. Romans 13:1-7. All of mankind knows right from wrong, whether they admit it or not. Romans 2:14-16. This is a very important point. The civil government leaders do not have to be Christian to know right from wrong. However, they do have to have a conscience to know right from wrong. That is why we need Christian leaders in government. The Bible says that the natural man does not receive the things of God because they are foolishness to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14. We need Christian leaders in government. That is why it is important to vote for Christian leaders. It is important to vote for Christian leaders that know right from wrong and have a conscience. It is important to vote for Christian leaders that will stand up for what is right and not be afraid to stand up for what is right.
WE NEED TO PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS
AS CHRISTIANS, WE NEED TO PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS. 1 Timothy 2:1-4. Biblically, the church is not permitted to be a political action committee to get involved with politics. As a Christian, you are permitted to be involved in politics. The church is not permitted to endorse candidates. As a Christian, you are permitted to endorse candidates. You are permitted to vote for candidates. You are permitted to run for office. You are permitted to be involved in politics. You are permitted to be involved in government. You are permitted to be involved in the political process. You are permitted to be involved in the political process as a Christian.
We ask this in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Beloved, be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21 WEB. As followers of Christ, we are called to be lights in a dark world, to stand against injustice, and to be a voice for the voiceless. IJN.
