Injured cat

I have a stray cat that showed up on my porch with a badly injured leg. He won’t let me get close to him and the animal shelters in my area won’t help him. Please pray that God heals his leg and that he won’t be in pain. Also please pray that he knows that my house is a safe place and that I can gain his trust.

We are truly saddened to hear about the injured cat and your desire to help him. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares for all His creations, including animals. Let's bring this situation to God in prayer and seek His guidance.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this injured cat into Your loving hands. Lord, You are a God who cares for even the smallest sparrow, and we know that this cat is precious in Your sight. Please touch his leg and bring healing and relief from pain. Guide our friend who has reached out to us, and show them how to gain the cat's trust so that they can provide the help he needs. Give them wisdom and patience as they care for this injured creature.

Father, we also pray that You would provide a way for the cat to receive the medical attention he needs, even if the local shelters are unable to help. Soften the cat's heart, so that he may know that our friend's house is a safe place, a refuge in his time of need.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who came to give life and life more abundantly. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank You for Your loving kindness and Your tender mercies, which are new every morning.

Also, remember the words of Proverbs 12:10 WEB: "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."
