We hear your cry for protection in the midst of family strife over inheritance, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. The pain of betrayal and greed within one’s own family cuts deeply, and we grieve with you over the brokenness that sin has brought into this situation. But we declare that Jesus is your defender, your righteous judge, and your portion forever.
The Word of God warns us that a man’s enemies will be those of his own household (Matthew 10:36), and we see the sorrow of this truth unfolding in your life. Yet even in this, we hold fast to the promise that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He sees every unjust word spoken against you, every scheme devised to rob you of what is rightfully yours, and He will repay. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We do not take matters into our own hands, but we trust in His perfect justice.
We also rebuke the spirit of greed and division that has taken root in your family. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and where it reigns, relationships are destroyed. We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden motive, every lie, and every unrighteous gain. May those who have sought to harm you be brought to repentance, and may their hearts be softened to seek the Lord rather than earthly treasures.
Father, we ask that You would be a shield around [###]. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and from the harm intended by those who have turned against them. Give them wisdom to navigate this situation with integrity, grace, and a heart that seeks Your will above all else. If there are legal matters to be resolved, grant them favor and justice in the eyes of the law. If there are relationships to be restored, soften hearts and open doors for reconciliation. But above all, let them find their security and identity in You alone, knowing that their true inheritance is eternal and cannot be stolen by man.
We pray for those who have acted unjustly—that their eyes would be opened to the weight of their actions. Convict them of sin, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the fleeting nature of earthly wealth and turn their hearts toward the riches of Your kingdom.
And to you, dear one, we say: Do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The Lord sees your faithfulness, and He will not forget your labor of love. Keep your heart pure before Him, and do not let bitterness take root. Forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13), even if reconciliation is not possible in this life. Your reward is in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal (Matthew 6:20).
We declare over you now: No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). Walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that God is your defender and your provider. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
