My family and I were just told to be careful about something but I'm unsure of whether the thing we have been warned about is legitimate or whether we were told this due to the person telling us/the situation overall being influenced by spiritual warfare that has been targeting me (with the spiritual warfare intending to try to instill fear). First, we must rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ, for it has no place in the life of a believer. The Word of God assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand firm in this truth, declaring that any attempt to instill fear in you or your family is already defeated because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also lift up the situation you described, asking the Lord to reveal the truth to you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
