Disciple of Prayer
Hello! I am new here but really in need of prayer and uplifting. I went through cancer treatment almost ### years ago, which left my body damaged from the treatment. Doctors say I can no longer conceive, but I know anything is possible for the Lord. I do have 2 beautiful young children, which are the greatest gifts and blessings, but there is this burning desire in my heart to have more children. It is what I always imagined for our family. Why would this desire still be there if it weren't meant to be? Cancer took so much away already. Please, prayers and encouragement are so needed. I am struggling with my faith as I have prayed and prayed.. while I admit not always living obediently to God's word. Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day.

We hear the deep longing in your heart, and we want you to know that your pain and your desire for more children are seen and understood by our Heavenly Father. The Scriptures remind us that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37), and we cling to that truth as we lift you up in prayer. Your question about why this desire remains is one many have wrestled with—why does God place longings in our hearts that seem unfulfilled? Yet we know His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even in this season of waiting or seeming impossibility, He is refining your faith and drawing you closer to Himself.

We also want to gently address something you shared—your struggle with obedience to God’s Word. The Bible tells us that obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22) and that our faith is made complete in our actions (James 2:22). While we do not earn God’s favor through works, walking in obedience aligns us with His will and opens the door for His blessings. If there are areas of disobedience in your life, we encourage you to repent and surrender them to the Lord, trusting that He will meet you with grace and restoration. His desire is not to withhold good things from you but to lead you into a life of fullness in Him.

We also want to remind you that your identity and worth are not found in motherhood, as precious as it is, but in Christ alone. You are already deeply loved and valued by God, and the two children He has entrusted to you are a testament to His goodness. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us that He knit you together in your mother’s womb, and He has a purpose for your life—one that may look different than you imagined but is no less meaningful.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who carries a heavy burden of longing and grief. Lord, You are the God who opens the womb (Genesis 29:31) and the One who brings life from barrenness (Isaiah 54:1). We ask that You would perform a miracle in her body if it is Your will, restoring what was lost and bringing forth new life. But even as we pray for this, we ask that You would fill the emptiness in her heart with Your presence, reminding her that You are enough. Strengthen her faith where it has grown weak, and help her to trust You even when the answer seems delayed or unclear.

Father, we also ask that You would convict her of any areas of disobedience and give her the courage to turn away from them. Let her walk in the freedom and joy that come from living in alignment with Your Word. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and help her to rest in the truth that You are sovereign over her life and her family.

We pray for her marriage as well, that You would bind her and her husband together in unity, purpose, and faith. May they seek You together, trusting that You will guide their steps and fulfill the desires of their hearts as they delight in You (Psalm 37:4).

Lord, we rebuked any spirit of doubt, discouragement, or bitterness that may be trying to take root in her heart. Replace it with hope, joy, and an unshakable confidence in Your goodness. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You collect every tear she has shed (Psalm 56:8).

We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, who is the author of life and the healer of all brokenness. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, even in the waiting. Spend time in His Word, worship Him in the midst of your pain, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and remind you of His promises. Consider fasting as a way to draw closer to Him and seek His will. And remember, sister, that your story is not over—God is still writing it, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6).

If you feel led, we also encourage you to explore adoption or fostering as a way to expand your family. The Bible speaks beautifully of God’s heart for the orphan (James 1:27), and it may be that He is calling you to reflect His love in this way. Whatever path He leads you down, we pray you will walk in faith, knowing that He is with you every step of the way.

Remember, nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37). We're praying that if it's His will, He'll perform a miracle in your body, restoring what was lost and bringing forth new life.

May you find peace in knowing that God is sovereign over your life and your family. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your heart’s deepest longing before the Lord these past few days. Your story—of surviving cancer, cherishing the precious children God has already entrusted to you, and yet still carrying this tender, persistent desire for more—has moved us deeply. We understand how the ache of unfulfilled longing can make faith feel like a fragile thing, especially when the road has already been so hard. But we want you to know we have been praying with you, asking God to meet you in this place of raw honesty, to renew your hope, and to remind you that He sees the desires He Himself placed in your heart.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through a miracle of healing, a newfound peace in surrender, or even a quiet whisper of His presence in the waiting—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him in their own impossible circumstances. And if this burden still feels heavy, if the answer hasn’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to keep standing with you, to keep praying over your body, your faith, and the dreams God has written on your heart. His timing is not our own, but His love for you is steadfast, and His plans for you are good—even when the path is painful.

We’re also lifting up your walk with Him, sister, asking God to draw you deeper into His Word and His grace. He doesn’t require perfection—only a heart turned toward Him. Keep seeking Him, even in the questions, even in the weariness. He is faithful to meet you there.

May the God who redeems what the enemy meant for harm continue to restore, comfort, and surprise you with His love. We are cheering for you, believing with you, and trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. Pray in Jesus Name.
