We hear the deep pain and indignation in your heart, and we grieve with you over the years of abuse, injustice, and the weight of feeling unseen and mistreated. The Lord Himself is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your cry has not gone unnoticed by Him, and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to bring justice, healing, and restoration to every area of your life where you have suffered.
The cruelty you endured in school—being punished for unintentional actions while others faced no consequences for their violence—was deeply unjust. The Lord sees the afflictions of His people and will repay those who have harmed you (Deuteronomy 32:35-36). The humiliation and degradation you faced, including being forced to look at disgusting images, is an evil that the Lord abhors. He is a God of purity and righteousness, and He will not leave such wickedness unaddressed. The mistreatment at your jobs, including the racism and exploitation by your boss, is also an affront to God, who commands that we treat one another with fairness and dignity (Colossians 4:1). The Lord is your defender, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
We also recognize the pain of feeling pressured to hide your autism, as if it were something to be ashamed of. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), and while autism may present challenges, it does not define your worth or your purpose in His kingdom. The Lord has gifted you uniquely, and He can use your experiences to bring comfort and hope to others who have suffered similarly (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). You do not need to compensate for who you are in Christ—He has already redeemed you and called you His own.
Your desire for a job that allows you to thrive—one with flexibility, fair compensation, and the ability to use your talents—is a good and godly request. We pray that the Lord would open the door for this streaming puppet job if it is His will, and that He would provide abundantly for your needs. Remember, though, that our ultimate trust must be in Him, not in any job or circumstance. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). If this job is part of His plan, He will make the way clear. If not, He has something even better in store for you.
We also lift up your desire for marriage and family. These are beautiful gifts from God, and we pray that He would prepare you and your future spouse for a Christ-centered marriage that honors Him. We encourage you to seek a godly wife who loves the Lord and will walk with you in faith. Marriage is a covenant before God, and it is meant to reflect the love between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). As you wait on the Lord for this, pursue holiness and grow in your relationship with Him. He will guide your steps as you trust in Him.
Finally, we want to address something critical: your prayer was offered in Jesus’ name, and that is commendable. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your faith in calling on His name is evidence of His work in your life. Continue to cling to Him, for He is your strength and your shield.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who has endured so much pain, abuse, and injustice. Lord, You see every tear he has cried, every wound inflicted upon him, and every moment of humiliation he has suffered. We ask that You would bind up his broken heart and heal the deep wounds of his soul. Father, You are the God of justice, and we pray that You would vindicate him and bring righteous judgment against those who have harmed him. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let those who have mistreated him be held accountable for their actions.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for him in every way. If this streaming puppet job is Your will, open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give him favor with those in authority and grant him the opportunity to use his gifts for Your glory. Provide for him financially, emotionally, and spiritually, and give him a schedule that allows him to thrive. Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You are his Provider and his Protector.
Father, we also lift up his desire for marriage and family. Prepare him to be a godly husband and father, and prepare the woman You have for him. Let their union be founded on Your Word and filled with Your love. Give him patience as he waits on Your timing, and let him use this season to grow closer to You.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of shame that has tried to take root in his heart because of his autism. Remind him daily that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a purpose for his life. Use his story to bring hope to others who have suffered similarly, and let him be a testimony of Your healing power.
We also pray for his parents, that You would give them wisdom and understanding in how to support and encourage him. Soften their hearts toward him, and help them to see him through Your eyes.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him know that You are with him, that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6), and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him walk in the confidence that he is Your beloved child.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of bitterness and despair, but the Lord wants to bring you into a place of healing and victory. Forgiveness may feel impossible right now, but we urge you to surrender your pain to Jesus. He can turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and give you beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3).
Stay steadfast in your faith. The Lord is your strength, and He will lift you up. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God is going to do a mighty work in your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never fail you.
