We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this matter of physical affliction to the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases. We thank you for the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom alone we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is in His mighty name that we pray and seek healing.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one who has been troubled by indigestion and vomiting in the night. We know that You are the God who sees every detail of our lives, even the discomforts that disturb our rest. You have promised in Your Word that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We claim that promise now, believing that You are able to restore health and bring wholeness to the body.
Lord, we ask that You would heal this digestion issue completely. Strengthen the stomach, regulate the production of stomach acid, and ensure that bile flows properly to aid in digestion. You created our bodies with such intricate care, and we trust that You know exactly what is needed to bring healing. We pray against any underlying issues that may be causing this discomfort, asking that You would reveal and remove them according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for wisdom in caring for the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While we trust in Your healing power, we recognize that You may use various means to bring about restoration, whether through rest, nutrition, or even the counsel of medical professionals. However, we stand on Your promise that You are our healer, and we ask that You would bring complete and permanent healing without the need for further intervention.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity that may be seeking to afflict this body. We declare that by the authority of Jesus’ name, sickness and disease have no place here. We speak life and health over every organ, every system, and every cell in this body, commanding them to function as You designed them to.
We pray for a speedy recovery, Lord. May this dear one wake up each morning feeling stronger and more whole, with no trace of this discomfort remaining. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also ask that You would provide comfort and strength for the days ahead. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your unfailing love.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You are faithful to answer the cries of Your children. We declare that healing is already on the way, and we receive it by faith in the name of Jesus. Amen.
