IN THE CHURCHES

```markdown
Before I continue in my call to teaching and prophecy, I must once again offer correction to those who have ears to hear.
1 Corinthians 14 (NIV)
³²The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. ³³For God is not a God of disorder but of peace —as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. ³⁴Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. ³⁵If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. ³⁶Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? ³⁷If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. ³⁸But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored. ³⁹Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. ⁴⁰But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
The first thing we must understand is that Christ, not Paul, is the head of the church. Therefore, Jesus, not Paul equips and call us into ministry. Neither coming to God nor serving God is gender specific. Secondly, we must neither add, nor take away any words to the scriptures. The Word of God is complete: ³⁴Women should remain silent in the churches.
God knows whom He calls and why. He allowed sexual immorality to lead me out of the church building, not out of this world. I am not speaking in the church. I'm prophesying, teaching, and instructing from the field. Given that truth, if you've been instructed to "ignore me," according to this passage, not only have you been led astray, you yourselves are operating in direct disobedience to Christ, "The Word of God," which makes the prophecy all the more accurate. Because it is this reason that the remnant shall be very small.
Jeremiah 14 (NLT)
¹⁵Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I will punish these lying prophets, for they have spoken in my name even though I never sent them. They say that no war or famine will come, but they themselves will die by war and famine! ¹⁶As for the people to whom they prophesy—their bodies will be thrown out into the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and war. There will be no one left to bury them. Husbands, wives, sons, and daughters—all will be gone. For I will pour out their own wickedness on them.
2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV)
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
But, it must not be taken out of context, for any reason, certainly not to satisfy man's biases.
Afterthought: It is my point of view that, above all, this passage was directly related the church at Corinth because of the chaos going on there, which, no doubt, some women were the orchestrators of. Paul had several women in leadership roles in the other churches that he organized. Choose your counsel wisely.
¹⁰For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.” (Revelations Ch.19 v10d, NLT) True prophecy does not water down God's Word. Christ is not confined to the New Testament nor is the freedom, which comes through Him, license to sin. Authentic prophecy and genuine spiritual...
