My name is Sarah. My husband, Kevin, and I are in desperate need of prayer for miracles. God is always good, and He always shows us that He will never leave us or forsake us, but our prayers alone aren't strong enough to battle what's come against us in the spirit. We desperately need miracles that will turn to permanent blessings afterwards.
We're on a low, fixed income, and I've been involved in a domestic violence situation with my ex for fifteen years now. He's taken almost everything from us, except our house, and he's even tried to do what he could to accomplish that. We have no friends and no family because of this man, and we can't even go to church because we've been ostracized due to the slander that he's spread. Things were going pretty well okay, where we didn't really have to even ask the churches for help with gas money for a while, and things started to seem to get better and better. But then we started getting attacked again, and last week our car died on us. In order to get out of debt with it (it cost us almost $200 to get it towed the 24 miles back home to keep it from getting ticketed by the Highway Patrol), we had to sell it to a salvage yard. Now, we're on foot, and my ex's sister has a tendency to like to try to run us over when she sees us out. Thankfully, we have a cell phone on a pre-paid disability plan, but we feel in our spirits that we're in desperate need of prayer to run more than 10,000 to flight. For about eight months, we had to have a fake recording on our house phone that said that the phone was disconnected when it really wasn't, and we had to do any phone business via appointment, because my ex and his sister would harass us, or would have THEIR bill collectors call us constantly. Now, we have to keep the answering machine on a different recording because we've been trying to find SOMEONE to help us get a car.
We feel very threatened and alone and isolated. Those that MIGHT help us are often afraid to because of my ex. We have no real resources left other than our house, but we have no way to move if we were to sell it, and we have no where to go if we were to sell it anyway. My husband said last night that he's about ready to just take what we can carry-- along with our dog and cat-- and just walk out. I convinced him to at least wait until April 1, to give at least that long for God to bring something about. I know that He will, and I've been believing for a long time, but it's hard to keep my faith and belief up and my husband's too.
Please, please pray for us-- for miracles in faith and belief, for miracles in our transportation and finance situations, for miraculous deliverance, for protection, and for whatever else God may tell you that we need.
