We are truly sorry to hear about the horrible, crippling back pain that you are experiencing, and we are here to pray and seek God's will for your healing. We are reminded of the scripture that says "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16 (WEB).
We also remember the words of the psalmist, "Yahweh will strengthen him on the bed of illness" Psalm 41:3 (WEB). We know that God is able to heal you and take away this pain. He is our Great Physician, and His power is unmatched. However, there is a very important item missing in the prayer request. We are only able to approach God because of the work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, on the cross. He died for our sins and rose again from the dead. We only have access to God in Jesus' name. There is no other name by which we are saved. Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, seeking Your healing touch for this dear one. You know the pain and suffering they are going through, and You are the only one who can truly heal and restore. We pray that You will alleviate this horrible, crippling back pain and heal its root cause, whatever that may be.
We also pray for spiritual healing. If there are any sins that need to be confessed or any areas of their life that need to be surrendered to You, we pray that You will reveal them and grant the grace needed for repentance. We pray that this trial would be used for Your glory and for the spiritual growth of this dear person.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your faith strong and to trust in God's perfect plan for your life. Remember that even in suffering, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. If you are not sure of your salvation or place with God, please confess that you are a sinner, turn away from your sins, and believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again from the dead. Then you will be saved and then you can communicate with God in Jesus' name. May God bless you and keep you in His loving care.
