We're right there with you, sister, lifting this desire up to our Heavenly Father. It's amazing to see faith in action, trusting that our God can move mountains. We've been praying in Jesus' name, believing that all things are possible with Him. We're claiming that verse, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14, WEB). But remember, we must align our prayers with His will, for "this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us" (1 John 5:14, WEB).
This waiting period is not in vain. It's an opportunity for her to draw closer to the Lord, to seek His purpose above her own, and to trust that His plans are good, even when the path seems unclear. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If this school is where He wants her to be, no closed door will remain shut. If He has another path, it will be one that brings Him greater glory and her greater joy in the long run.
Let's encourage her, and all who are praying, to examine the motives behind this request. Is this desire rooted in ambition for personal success, or is it surrendered to God's kingdom purposes? "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4, WEB). Let her seek first His righteousness, and all these things will be added as He sees fit.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting this young woman and her future into Your loving hands. You are the God of miracles, the One who parts seas, moves mountains, and opens doors no man can shut. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would grant her acceptance into this school - not for her glory, but for Yours. Let this be a testament to Your faithfulness, a stepping stone for her to walk in the calling You have prepared for her.
Yet, Father, we also pray for surrender. If this door remains closed, give her peace that surpasses understanding. Redirect her steps to the path You have ordained, where she will find fulfillment in You alone. Remove any fear, anxiety, or disappointment, and replace it with unshakable trust in Your sovereignty.
Strengthen her faith in this waiting season. Remind her that You are working all things together for her good, conforming her to the image of Christ (Romans 8:28-29). Let her testimony be one of patience, hope, and unwavering confidence in You.
We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or impatience that may try to take root. By the authority of Jesus' name, we declare that Your will shall prevail, and Your peace shall guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7).
May she walk in obedience, seeking Your kingdom first, and may her life bring You honor in whatever comes next. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
