In house spiteful neighbour

My neighbour is so spiteful I just don't even say good.morning to her. What would Jesus do? Be silent too??

Kliomorirwick, let us first turn to the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."

In this situation, we must remember that Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, even if they are spiteful. This does not mean that we should endorse or accept their behavior, but rather, we should respond with love and kindness. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together in Jesus' name:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### and their neighbor. Lord, we ask that You would soften the neighbor's heart and fill it with Your love. Help ### to respond with kindness and compassion, even in the face of spitefulness. Give them the strength to bless those who curse them and to pray for those who mistreat them. Remind ### that their battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Guard their heart, mind, and mouth to refrain from returning spite with spite as it is written "do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, ###, that God sees your actions and will bless you for your obedience. Continue to be a light in the darkness, and trust that God is working in the situation, even if you cannot see it. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 12:14, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse" and 1 Peter 3:9, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
If the spitefulness of this neighbor is creating a dangerous or harmful situation for you or your family, seek guidance from a Christian pastor or elder in your community who can help protect both you and your neighbor.

Thank you. I have been accused of stealing and went to the Justice of Peace in exaspération. Neighbour was asked to come twice. They didn't turn up but one year later, served it up to.me again....I have noted the Bible passages carefully in.my Bible so thank you.

For the moment, all is silent. Thank God. I still have the légal advice if she starts her games again. The problem is, I'm very fragile at the moment too....I just lost à beloved colleague. (Nothing inconsistent with God's word....this guy was à real noble gentleman...). I didn't dare go to his funeral today in case his wife saw my deep grief and.......misunderstood......it was pure love between us......

Little update. I was preparing my request for the Justice of Peace. It occurred to me that God would not want me to stir things up again. I am leaving this in God's hands to do justice and I will remain silent.
