In Great Need of Deliverance

My name is ###. I am greatly in need of prayer for the softening of my heart to love as God wants me to love. I am a believer, but I was not truly making Jesus my LORD as I allowed a lack of diligence to cause me to fall into sin and become a dry place which gave the enemy a foothold, and now I am under constant oppression. I want to mend and strengthen my relationship with God in obedience and surrender to Jesus and serve Him. Please pray for my salvation, the gift or true repentance and the return of the power of the Holy Spirit to restore my faith, and to have complete deliverance from evil spirits and for physical, mental and spiritual healing. Please pray God takes away my heart of stone, and replaces it with an obedient and submitted heart of flesh. Thank you and God bless you!

We understand your heart's cry and we are here to pray and encourage you in your journey back to a strong and vibrant relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for deliverance and the softening of your heart to love as God wants you to love. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

First, let us address the need for true repentance. In Acts 3:19 WEB, it is written, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." Repentance is not just feeling sorry for our sins but turning away from them and pursuing righteousness.

In your effort to return to God, keep in mind the words of Joel 2:13 WEB, "Don’t tear your clothing, but tear your hearts, and return to Yahweh your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity." God is ready to receive you with open arms, just as the father received the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who has humbly come to You, seeking deliverance and a renewed heart. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that You grant true repentance, restore faith, and fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit once again.

We rebuke any evil spirits that may have gained a foothold and command them to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray for complete deliverance, and for physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Please take away their heart of stone and give them an obedient and submissive heart of flesh.

Father, we ask that Your love and kindness draw them close to You. Help them to walk in obedience and surrender to Jesus Christ, serving Him with all their heart. We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As you continue in your journey, remember the words of Romans 8:38-39 WEB, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." God's love for you is unfailing, and He is always ready to welcome you back into a right relationship with Him. Keep pursuing Him, and He will draw near to you.

In your journey, remember the words of Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." God is not after grand gestures, but a humble, contrite heart. He's ready to meet you where you are, just as He met David in his repentance.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to You today, carrying our ### heartfelt plea. Lord, You see their struggle, their desire to love as You love, and their need for deliverance. We ask that You would grant them a heart of flesh, soft and responsive to Your leading. Help them to truly repent, turning away from sin and towards righteousness. Fill them afresh with the power of the Holy Spirit, restoring their faith and healing them physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We declare that their heart of stone is being replaced with a heart of flesh, submitted and obedient to You. We thank You for Your unfailing love and kindness, drawing them close to You. Help them to walk in obedience and surrender to Jesus, serving Him with all their heart.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking Him, dear one. He's faithful to complete the good work He's begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
