I have sent out several resumes and am anxiously awaiting any response to them. I am currently underemployed and we are having difficulty making ends meet. We were served with an eviction notice today. I was able to call the landlord and ask her to hold off, but things are scary in our house right now. There are shutoff notices for several utilities. Please, pray that someone calls to interview and hire me for a better employment situation soon. I have no doubt that I am in the employment situation that I have for a special reason, but I am terrified of where my family will be financially if the employment situation doesn't change in the next month or so.

I have received a phone call that may be about an interview for a better position. Unfortunately, I was not available to take the phone call, and will have to return the call tomorrow. Please pray that this is indeed for an interview.

Additionally, I received a call about some per diem work that I will be able to undertake while I await a better paying job. This work will be day to day, like the job I have now, but it will allow me to increase my skills.

Praise God for being faithful. Praise Him for answering prayers. Praise Him for hearing the cries of the faithful. Praise Him for providing and making a way when there appears to be no way. Thank You, God. I will continue to seek Your face through these trials. You are providing, as You have promised You would. I will not doubt. I will pray and I will ask that Your will be done. You will not fail to point me on Your path.

My phone call was not about an interview, but a call to provide encouragement to continue looking for employment. This recruiter suggested that I find a location in which to work for a year to reestablish myself, and then she would be happy to hire me. I am still seeking the opportunity that the Lord has ordained for me. I will trust Him to show me His path for me. He will light his way. Please pray for me, and Praise the Lord for sending me an encouraging sister who spoke such kind words today as she was telling me that, as sad as it made her, she could not hire me at the present time. Praise Him for lighting this fire in me to redeem my career and use it for His glory. Praise Him.

I would like to provide an update for those of you who have prayed for us. God has provided an amazing job for me that allows me to use the love that I feel for my patients to witness to an underserved population. I now have one more hurdle to face: a review by a governing board to determine whether I will be allowed to continue to practice. Please pray that I will be able to continue to practice and continue along this path upon which I have been set, if it is His will. He has provided in His time, and has provided generously. I am grateful to you all for your prayers, and I am humbled and awed by God's amazing grace, which has given me these opportunities.
