Disciple of Prayer
Please continue in prayer for our marriage. Almighty Yahweh please gain glory for yourself by restoring our marriage and our hearts to you and each other. Demonstrate your power and goodness by protecting it from evil and not allowing anyone or anything come between us. Heal any rift or misunderstanding, forgive us for any known or unknown sin, open her heart again, awaken and rekindle love again. Please I beg and plead from my innermost being with absolute confidence in the identity, goodness, sovereignty and power of Yahweh, do this, give me one chance, soften her heart to be receptive to me so I can demonstrate I've been equipped and will love her properly and I will praise and serve you and bless your name and sing of your goodness and faithfulness as long as I live. We are to delight ourselves in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our heart. I have been and grown closer. He has shown He is close to the brokenhearted and is faithful and has been helping me and guiding, healing, instructing and equipping me to be a wonderful Christian man and husband to my Proverbs 31 wife. She is unparalleled and loving, gentle and all together lovely. I love her fiercely, passionately, and completely. She is next to God the deepest desire of my heart. Please Yahweh move mightily. Go to war for my marriage. Fight for what you have instituted since the Garden of Eden. I will be wholly devoted to You first and foremost for this, my wife second. I thank you Yahweh for the gift of my wife and marriage. She and my children are the greatest blessings of my life.

We stand with you in fervent agreement, lifting your marriage before the throne of our Almighty Father, who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. Your cry for restoration echoes the heart of God, who hates divorce and longs for covenantal faithfulness between a man and his wife. We hear your passion, your brokenness, and your unwavering faith in Yahweh’s power—and we join you in declaring His promises over your marriage, for His Word does not return void.

You have rightly acknowledged that it is *Yahweh* who must move mightily, and we affirm that He alone is the Restorer of all things. Your plea for one more chance resonates with the story of Hosea, whom God commanded to love his unfaithful wife as a picture of His own relentless love for Israel. Just as Hosea pursued Gomer, so too does Christ pursue His bride—and so too must husbands reflect this divine love. Your commitment to love your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25) is a testament to the work God is doing in you. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her"*—this is the high calling you are embracing, and we commend you for it.

Yet we must also remind you, as we remind ourselves, that while we plead with God for the desires of our hearts, our ultimate delight must be in *Him alone*. You quoted Psalm 37:4—*"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"*—and this is true. But let us examine our hearts: Is our delight first in the Lord, or is it in the gift? If our joy is contingent upon the restoration of our marriage rather than the Giver of all good things, we risk idolatry. Your vow to devote yourself wholly to God first is wise and biblical. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). Cling to this promise.

We also sense in your words a deep longing not just for reconciliation, but for the opportunity to *prove* the change God has wrought in you. This is good—*actions* must accompany repentance and prayer. Yet remember, brother, that while you are called to love your wife sacrificially, you cannot *force* her heart to soften. That is the work of the Holy Spirit. Your role is to obey God, to love her as Christ loves, and to trust Him with the outcome. *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). You cannot control her response, but you *can* control your faithfulness.

Now, let us address something with gentleness but clarity: You have invoked the name of *Yahweh* repeatedly—and rightly so, for He is the covenant-keeping God. Yet we notice the absence of the name of *Jesus Christ* in your prayer. It is only through Jesus, the Son of God, that we have access to the Father. *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for apart from Him, even our most heartfelt prayers lack the mediation needed to reach the Father. If you *have* trusted in Christ, then we encourage you to pray *in His name*, for it is by His blood that we boldly approach the throne of grace.

With that foundation, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this brother and his marriage. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, who redeems what is broken. You are the Author of marriage, and You have declared that what You have joined together, no man should separate. We ask You, Father, to move in supernatural power over this union. Soften hearts, break down walls, and remove every obstacle that stands between this husband and wife. Where there has been sin—known or unknown—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Where there has been distance, bring reconciliation.

Lord, we ask that You would give this brother wisdom to love his wife as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, patiently, and selflessly. Equip him to lead with humility and strength, to serve with kindness, and to cover her in prayer. And Father, we pray for his wife—open her heart to receive the love You are pouring through him. Awaken in her a renewed desire for this marriage, for unity, for the covenant You established. Let her see Your hand at work in her husband’s life, and draw her back to You first and foremost.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to destroy this marriage. Satan, you have no authority here. This marriage belongs to God, and we declare that no weapon formed against it shall prosper. We bind every spirit of division, bitterness, or hardness of heart, and we loose the power of the Holy Spirit to bring restoration, love, and unity.

Father, we thank You that You are a God who fights for His people. Go to war for this marriage, Lord. Let Your glory be displayed in their reconciliation. Let their story be a testimony of Your faithfulness, Your power, and Your goodness. And Lord, if there is any area in this brother’s life that needs surrender, conviction, or repentance, reveal it to him. Purify him, Lord, that he may be a vessel of Your love and grace.

We trust You, Father. We believe You are able. And we wait expectantly for You to move. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, continue to stand firm in faith. Do not grow weary in praying, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16). Keep loving, keep serving, keep trusting. And remember: God’s timing is perfect. Even if you do not see the breakthrough yet, He is working. *"Let’s not get tired of doing what is good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9).

We are standing with you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith.

We're right there with you, brother, on our knees, interceding for your marriage. We've been moved by your heartfelt plea, your unwavering faith, and your fierce love for your wife. It's clear that you're not just asking for restoration, but also for the chance to demonstrate the change God has worked in you. That's a beautiful thing!

We want to encourage you with a verse that's been on our hearts: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you in your pain. Trust in His timing, His ways, and His love for you and your marriage.

We also want to remind you of the power of unity in prayer. When two or more agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by our Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19). You're not alone in this fight. We're standing with you, and together, we believe that God will move mightily on your behalf.

Keep loving your wife as Christ loves the church. Keep serving her, keep praying for her, and keep trusting in God's plan. He's at work, even if you can't see it yet. And remember, your role is to be faithful in what you can control, and trust God with the rest.

We're praying for you, brother. We're believing for restoration, for healing, for love to be rekindled, and for your marriage to be a testimony of God's faithfulness and power. Keep fighting the good fight, and know that we're right there with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
