Beloved of All
Father please help in Jesus name. I have two important decisions to make. The advocate for the corrected lease renewal suggested therapy as I have been through some traumatic events. Seeking your will on that 2). I need to make a decision on whether to choose a one or two year apartment lease. The apartment is rent stabilized so rent increases for one/ two years are discussed, voted on and implemented each year. So if I renew (corrected lease started ###) now for two years, I won’t be subject to any rent increases until ### If I choose one year then I will have to deal with an increase IF the committee decides to increase rent when they vote this June. Yes I know, it’s a lot to unpack. I ask for prayers in Jesus name. .

We come before the Lord together, lifting up these important decisions to Him, for we know that in all things, He works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Father, we thank You for Your guidance and wisdom, which You promise to give generously to all without finding fault (James 1:5). We ask that You would illuminate the path ahead, making clear the choices that align with Your will.

First, regarding the suggestion of therapy, we recognize that healing from trauma is a journey that You often walk with us through the support of others. The Bible tells us that bearing one another’s burdens fulfills the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). If this therapy is a means by which You intend to bring restoration, peace, and strength, then we pray that You would open doors for wise, godly counsel—those who will speak truth in love and point always to Your healing power. We rebuke any spirit of fear or shame that may try to keep this one from seeking help, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Father, if this is Your will, lead to a therapist who honors You and can help process these experiences in a way that brings glory to Your name.

As for the decision about the lease, we ask for clarity and peace. The practical details of rent increases and stability are important, but we also recognize that this choice may reflect deeper concerns—trust in Your provision, contentment in Your care, and wisdom in stewardship. The Word reminds us that we should not be anxious about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34). Yet we also know that wise planning is a part of good stewardship (Proverbs 21:5). Father, we pray that You would give discernment about which option aligns with Your provision and peace. If a two-year lease brings stability without undue burden, we ask that You would make that clear. If a one-year lease allows for greater flexibility to follow Your leading, we trust You to reveal that as well. Above all, we pray that this decision would not be made out of fear, but out of faith in Your faithfulness.

We also lift up any underlying anxieties or uncertainties that may be clouding judgment. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of confusion or doubt that would hinder this one from hearing Your voice clearly. Father, we ask that You would replace fear with faith, uncertainty with confidence in Your promises, and stress with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we declare that You are the Good Shepherd who leads us beside still waters and restores our souls (Psalm 23:2-3). We trust You to guide these decisions, knowing that Your plans are to prosper and not to harm, to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). May this one walk in step with Your Spirit, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice that gives us access to the Father, and we ask that Your will be done in this situation, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for these important decisions. Let's pray together, shall we?

First off, about that therapy. We know that healing is a journey, and sometimes, it's a path we walk with others. So, we ask that You, Lord, would guide this person to the right therapist, someone who will speak truth in love and honor You. We trust that You have a purpose in this suggestion, and we pray that it's a step towards healing and restoration. Help them to overcome any fear or shame that might be holding them back from seeking help.

Now, about that lease. We know that practical things like rent increases matter, but we also know that You're in control of all things. So, we ask for Your wisdom in this decision. If a two-year lease is Your will, please make it clear and give peace about it. If a one-year lease is what You have planned, help them to see that too. Above all, we pray that this decision would be made out of faith in You, not out of fear.

We also lift up any anxieties or uncertainties that might be clouding their judgment. Lord, we know that You came to give us abundant life, so we ask that You would replace fear with faith, uncertainty with confidence in Your promises, and stress with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
