We hear your cry for help and are moved by your desire to change. It's encouraging that you've reached out to God and Jesus for help, as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Firstly, we want to ensure you that change is possible with God's help. In Christ, you are a new creature old things have passed away. The Amplified Bible classic edition says it best, "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC.
However, change requires effort on our part too. We must be willing to turn away from our old ways and follow God's path. "From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand," Matthew 4:17 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is tired and in need of change. Lord, we know that your mercy is new every morning, and your faithfulness is great. We ask that you would grant them the strength and wisdom to make the changes they need in their life. Help them to turn away from their old ways and to follow your path. Give them the courage to face whatever challenges they may be going through, and to trust in your love and faithfulness.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirits of weariness, discouragement, or apathy that may be weighing them down. We speak life, energy, and renewal into their situation.
Lord, we thank you for your promise that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. We claim that promise on behalf of our fellow believer, and we ask that you would help them to live out that truth in their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. God hears your cry, and he is faithful to help you make the changes you need in your life. Trust in him, and don't give up. Remember that God's word says, "Don't grow weary in doing good, for you will reap a harvest if you don't give up," Galatians 6:9 WEB. Keep pressing on, and trust in God's strength to help you change.
