We hear your distress and your fear after what happened with your mother's cat and we are praying with you for peace, protection, and clarity in Jesus' name. We understand you felt shaken, creeped out, and even threatened when the animal reacted toward you, especially while you were simply sitting and visiting family, and we want to bring this before the Lord with you.

We also need to lovingly address some things in your request so that your prayers align with God's Word. You quoted Deut 28:13 that you are the head and not the tail, and that is a beautiful promise, yet in context that blessing was given to Israel when they would obey the voice of the Lord and walk in His ways, see Deut 28:1. It is not a formula we speak into existence one hundred fold by our own power. Our words do have importance, but it is God who sovereignly blesses, and we are to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and trust Him to provide, see Matt 6:33. Speaking things into existence as if our words force God to act is not biblical. Instead we humbly ask according to His will, see 1 John 5:14.

We also need to address the language and the desire for vengeance in your request. We see phrases wishing harm, cursing, and calling for karma and for people to go to hell and to taste their own medicine. Scripture calls us to a different way. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, see Eph 4:29. Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so, see James 3:10. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. Avenge not yourselves, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, see Rom 12:19. You shall not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, see Rom 12:21. To speak karma is to speak a principle that is not biblical. What Scripture teaches is that whatever a man sows, that he will also reap, see Gal 6:7, but our call is to sow mercy and leave judgment to God who judges justly. Using profanity even toward Satan does not honor Christ and does not give us spiritual authority. Our authority is in the name of Jesus spoken with reverence and faith, and by submitting to God and resisting the devil.

We do believe there is a real spiritual battle and that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, see 1 Peter 5:8. We are not to fear Halloween or any day, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, see 2 Tim 1:7. The way we stand against evil is not by cursing it, but by putting on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, see Eph 6:11. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, see Eph 6:12. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, see James 4:7.

We also hear your heart for your son and your pain that you have not yet been able to be the mother you long to be to him, and your desire that he would know you love him and that he is well. That love honors God. We pray God will heal that relationship in His timing and will comfort you where you feel poor or lacking or stolen from. God is your provider and your vindicator.

You did mention the blood of Jesus, and we are thankful for that, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name we are saved. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, see Acts 4:12. And Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, see John 14:6. We are glad you are calling on Him and we join you there.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through His blood. We lift this dear one to You who has been fearful and unsettled after this alarming encounter with an animal in her mother's home. Lord, we ask You to remove fear and replace it with Your perfect peace. We pray that You would guard her mind and heart, for You promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, see Phil 4:7. Let her dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty, see Psalm 91:1. We ask that You protect her, her family, and their pets from any evil influence or attack, and that no weapon formed against them would prosper.

Lord, forgive us where we have used our mouths to curse rather than bless, and cleanse our lips to speak what is holy and gracious. Teach us to trust You with justice and to release those who have bullied or hurt us into Your hands, knowing You see all and will judge righteously. Help us to bless those who have caused pain and to overcome evil with good. We renounce any reliance on our own words to force blessings and instead submit to Your sovereign will, trusting that You withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.

Father, we especially lift her son to You. You know her love for him and her desire to be known as his birth mother without burden or expectation, simply to love him. We ask for Your healing upon him, upon her, and upon their relationship. Provide for her needs, Lord, lift the burden of poverty, debt and lack, and show Yourself as her provider. Restore what has felt stolen, and give her favor that comes from Your hand alone. Let her have good, happy, healthy relationships and joyful time with family, free from fear and confusion.

We ask that You help her to walk as the head and not the tail by walking in obedience to You, keeping Your commandments and seeking You with all her heart. Clothe her with strength and dignity and let her know she is loved and favored in Christ, not because of any formula, but because she is Your child through faith in Jesus.

We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray in Jesus' name with reverence, to read Scripture daily, to put on the armor of God each morning through prayer, and to speak blessings and thanksgiving rather than curses. If fear returns, speak Scripture aloud, such as 2 Tim 1:7 and Psalm 91:1, and resist the devil by submitting to God. Trust the Lord to be your defender and to bring healing to you and your son in His perfect time.

We were so sorry to read what happened while you were visiting family. Being startled like that by your mother's cat, especially when you were just sitting quietly, would leave anyone shaken and on edge, and we hear how much you want to feel safe at home with family and with your pets, and to know your son is secure and knows your love.

It makes sense that Halloween and a strange moment with an animal would feel extra heavy and even frightening. Cats can sometimes react suddenly out of their own fear or overstimulation, and when we are already carrying worry about family relationships and about being misunderstood, a startling moment can feel much bigger than it is. You are not alone in wanting that fear to lift and not follow you.

One steady next step that may help is to give yourself a little space to settle after the scare. When you are ready, it could help to talk calmly with your mom about what happened with the cat so you both have a plan for next visits, like giving the animal room, and to share with a trusted pastor or safe family member how worried you have felt about your son. Staying connected with a few steady people often helps fear loosen its grip more than trying to sort it all out alone.

Father, we bring this mom and her family to You. We ask for Your peace over her home and her visits, for rest from fear, for protection and calm for her, her son, and their pets, and for wisdom and reassurance in her love as a mother. Keep her close to You and help her sense Your steady presence with her. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your words breathe out much fear and distress, and my heart is moved with compassion for you in this trouble. You have been shaken by what felt like a strange and creepy attack, and you have felt threatened and wronged, even while you were simply seeking to enjoy time with your family. Hear then what the Lord says to such a troubled heart, for all through Scripture the lily beds of His Word are filled with this sweet flower, Fear not.

Fear is a very natural disease, and sin is the mother of the fear which has torment. When the heart is vexed and sore afraid, the Lord Jesus draws near and says, Fear not, I am the First and the Last, I am He that lives and was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore. He does not wonder that you shrink, but He looks with eyes of sorrow upon such fear and says, Fear not, I am with thee. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, for it doubts the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Labor then to get rid of fear, not by speaking words into existence as though faith were an incantation, but by resting upon Christ Himself. The promise of Deuteronomy, that you shall be the head and not the tail, was given to an obedient people under the law, and it finds its true fulfillment only in Christ, who kept the law perfectly for us and brings us into favor not by our declarations but by His blood.

You have cried out for swift judgments and for vengeance upon those who have wronged you, and have desired to give them a taste of their own medicine. This is most natural, for to return evil for evil suggests itself to any fallen heart, and it seems easy and even just after a fashion. Yet a moment's reflection will let you see that to recompense evil for evil is natural to the animal nature, but it is not natural to the new created spirit whose nature is like the God from which it came, namely love, gentleness and kindness. Good for evil is Godlike. When we oppose evil with evil, the evil which comes from us does us far more injury than any evil which we experience from others. The Word says, Overcome evil with good. Saints first learn the art of overcoming evil and then they learn the way to overcome goodness itself by clinging to Christ. If you have been wronged, fly at once to the blood of the Atonement, that you may be purged from former faults and cleansed for future holiness.

There is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared, and that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ His Son. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin, and all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men who come to Him. He does not intend that we should play at forgiveness, but should really and from our hearts most freely and sincerely forgive those who have done evil toward us. He is the God of Peace and He has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation, and has committed to His Son the work of reconciliation. If you are willing to be at peace with God, there is nothing whatever needed from you, for God has prepared all things that are needed for this present and perpetual reconciliation. Come then with your poverty, your debt, your lack, your fear for your son and your family, and lay them before Him who knows the evil of sin and the fear it creates in the conscience, for He has felt it and can be tender and compassionate to you.

For your son, for your mother, for your household and even for your pets, pray not with curses upon others, but with the tender plea that God would keep you all from evil. The Lord keeps His people from presumptuous sins and cleanses them from secret faults. Seek Christian association and warm hearted fellowship, which is one of the very best ways of keeping you from evil, and walk in that delightful tenderness of conscience toward Christ which says, Cleanse me from every secret fault, lest my heart should once from You depart.

May the Lord grant you to look back over this day and find peace, not because no strange thing happened, but because Christ was with you in it. May He give you good cheer, for the same Jesus who said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, still says to palsied and fearful hearts, arise and walk. May He turn your desire for revenge into prayer for mercy, your fear into faith, and your sense of being stolen from into the assurance that in Christ you have every spiritual blessing. I pray that He will guard your home, give you favor in His own way and time, heal and keep your son according to His gracious will, and let you enjoy happy and healthy time with your family, with a heart at rest in the blood of Jesus.

We will pray that the Lord, who is faithful to His promises and faithful to His Son, will preserve you from endless wrath and bring you to endless glory, and that perfect love may cast out fear, for fear has torment.

Your words have been heard, and I can see how much fear and distress you have carried, from the startling moment with the cat to the worry for your son, your family, and your provision. It is right to bring these burdens to the Lord, but it is also important to bring them in a way that is shaped by Scripture and that leads your soul toward peace rather than deeper turmoil.

First, the anxiety and agitation you describe is itself a heavy burden. When the soul is tossed between sudden fear and desperate desire for vindication, it has no rest. It is puffed up for a moment and then sinks again, never in tranquility. That restless fluctuation is not from God, who calls us to cast our cares upon Him and to bear trials with patience, trusting that He will deliver in His time. He did not promise that we would never feel fear, but He instructs us not to seek deliverance hastily and anxiously, but to endure manfully and look to Him.

You quote Deuteronomy 28:13, I am the head and not the tail. That promise was given under the Old Covenant where material blessing and poverty were signs within that covenant. Now in Christ it is no longer so. Poverty is not a curse that proves you are unloved, and wealth is not proof of favor. The Lord says to consider the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow or reap, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. No one can easily point to one of His children who has been forsaken to perish. If you have what is necessary for life, you need not tremble at poverty as if it meant you are despised by God. Many poor have lived quietly and blessedly, while many rich have lived in great misery. What matters is not abundance but whether we are found in Christ.

In Christ we have something far greater than material increase. He came to deliver from evil and to supply good in a way no one else could. He delivered us from the curse of the Law and brought us into adoption as sons, so that we have put on Christ and received the Spirit of adoption. That is our true standing. We do not obtain favor by speaking things into existence a hundredfold or by repeating verses as if they were charms. God is not moved by the force of our words, but by His own mercy through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation. To speak as if we can create reality by our declarations, or to call upon karma or to repay evil with curses, is not the way of Christ.

The frightening experience with the cat, especially around a time when many speak of evil, has left you feeling attacked and creeped upon even when you were sitting quietly as a visitor in your family home. It is understandable to be startled. Yet Christ has set His people on high and above injury from that quarter, not so that we live in constant suspicion that every strange event is a demonic attack, and not so that we become overly scrupulous and fearful that evil can reach us at any moment without our knowledge. If we live in that fear, we give it more power over us than it has. If you ate or acted in ignorance, or if an animal behaved strangely, you are not thereby defiled or condemned. The Lord calls us to thorough security and liberty in Him, not to endless dread. Pray for protection, yes, but do so with trust, not with terror, and do not attribute to Satan power that belongs only to God.

You also speak of judgments and curses upon those you feel have bullied you or made others hate you, and you desire that they taste their own medicine and go to hell. This is not the spirit Christ teaches. We are told to owe no one anything except to love one another, and love is a debt we always owe and always keep paying. Vengeance belongs to the Lord. We do not pray for people to be damned, but we pray that God would do what is just and merciful, that He would stop evil, bring repentance where it is needed, and protect you and your family. To use the blood of Jesus as a formula or to speak with cursing language does not honor Him. His blood is the holy price of our redemption, shed to make us sons, not a phrase to wield in anger. Come to God with reverence, confessing your own need for grace, and ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness.

Your love for your son is evident, and it is good that you say you do not want him to owe you anything but simply to know you love him. Hold fast to that. Love does not keep accounts. Pray for his healing and well being according to God's will, not as a demand that God must act urgently on your terms, but as a humble request from a mother who trusts a wise Father. God knows what healing your son needs most, for body and soul, and He hears a prayer offered in faith and patience more than one offered in frantic insistence.

Moving forward, I encourage you to pray simply and reverently. Thank God for His provision, confess where anger or harsh words have taken hold, ask for His peace to guard your heart, ask for protection for your family and your pets, ask for grace to love those who have hurt you, and ask for wisdom for your son. Stay rooted in Scripture, gather regularly with a faithful church, and speak with a pastor you trust about these fears so you are not alone with them. If anxiety continues to overwhelm you, seek help from mature and caring people around you.

May the Lord grant you quietness of soul, freedom from the scourge of constant anxiety, and confidence that your life is hid with Christ in God. May He supply what you truly need, keep you from fear of poverty and from desire for vengeance, and teach you to walk in love, which fulfills His law.
