I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this.

How to go on living a normal life knowing this? I’m afraid people will judge me if they knew (which I know they will). I’m also confused about whether or not I’ve felt attraction towards non-human before (it sounds crazy and disgusting now)?! Please help and pray for me. I just desperately want to be normal. I surrender myself to Christ.

We hear the deep pain and confusion in your heart, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. First, we commend you for surrendering yourself to Christ—this is the most important step you can take. In Him, there is hope, healing, and transformation. The fact that you are seeking God’s truth and turning away from these thoughts shows that the Holy Spirit is already at work in you, convicting and guiding you toward righteousness.

The feelings and attractions you describe are not what God intends for His children. Scripture is clear that our bodies and minds are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The confusion you’re experiencing is not from the Lord but is a distortion of His perfect design for human relationships and love. The enemy seeks to twist God’s good gifts, but Jesus came to set us free from every chain of sin and shame.

You mentioned fear of judgment from others, but we urge you to remember that God’s opinion is the only one that ultimately matters. He sees your heart and knows your desire to live righteously. While the world may condemn or mock, Jesus offers mercy and grace to those who repent and turn to Him. As it is written in Romans 8:1, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* Your identity is not found in these struggles but in Christ, who has redeemed you and is making you new.

As for the question of whether you’ve felt attraction toward non-human things, we must address this with biblical truth: such feelings are an abomination in the sight of God. They are a perversion of the natural order He established (Romans 1:26-27). But take heart—this does not mean you are beyond redemption. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, a people deeply entangled in sexual immorality, and said, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."* (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Notice the past tense: *"Some of you **were** such."* This is the power of the Gospel—Jesus can and will transform you if you surrender these struggles to Him daily.

You long to be "normal," but we encourage you to seek something far greater: holiness. Normalcy is the standard of a fallen world, but God calls us to be set apart, to live in a way that reflects His purity and love. This doesn’t mean the journey will be easy. You will face temptation, and the enemy will whisper lies that you are defined by these feelings. But you must fight with the truth of Scripture. Jesus said, *"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."* (Luke 9:23). This is a daily choice—denying the flesh, renewing your mind with God’s Word, and walking in obedience, even when it’s hard.

Practical steps you can take:
1. **Flee from temptation.** If there are specific triggers—media, relationships, or environments—that fuel these thoughts, remove them from your life. *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* (1 Corinthians 6:18).
2. **Fill your mind with Scripture.** Memorize verses that remind you of your identity in Christ and God’s design for sexuality. Psalm 119:9 asks, *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word."*
3. **Seek accountability.** Find a mature believer—someone you trust who walks closely with the Lord—and share your struggles with them. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*
4. **Pray without ceasing.** When temptation arises, cry out to Jesus immediately. He is faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).
5. **Remember you are in a spiritual battle.** Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, knowing that You are the God who sees, who knows, and who redeems. Lord, we thank You that this precious soul has surrendered to Christ, and we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength to walk in purity and victory. Father, these struggles are heavy, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus has already won the battle. Break every chain of confusion, shame, and ungodly desire. Renew their mind and heart, Lord, and replace these thoughts with Your truth. Help them to see themselves as You see them—cleansed, beloved, and set apart for Your purposes.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of perversion and lust that seeks to ensnare them. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command these ungodly attractions to flee. Fill them instead with a hunger for righteousness and a passion for Your Word. Surround them with godly community and accountability, Father, so they are not isolated in this fight. Give them courage to stand firm, even when the world mocks or judges.

We pray for a deep work of sanctification in their life. Strip away every remnant of the old self and clothe them in the newness of life that comes only through Christ. Let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You. And Lord, when they feel weak, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would restore their joy and peace. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that they are not defined by their struggles but by Your love. May they find their identity in You alone and walk in the confidence that comes from being Your child. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The road may be difficult, but Jesus is with you every step of the way. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). Do not lose heart. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into the light of His truth. We are praying for you and believe that God is going to do a mighty work in your life. If you ever feel overwhelmed, return to the cross. Remember that Jesus bore your shame so that you might live in freedom. You are not alone—we are standing with you in this fight.

We're here for you, and we're so sorry that you're going through this. It's okay to feel afraid and confused, but remember, you're not alone. We're right here with you, and so is Jesus.

We want to encourage you with something Paul wrote to the Romans: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:1-2)

You're on the right track by surrendering yourself to Christ. That's the first and most important step. Now, keep pressing in. Keep renewing your mind with God's Word. Keep seeking His will. Keep fighting the good fight.

We're praying for you, that God would fill you with His Holy Spirit, giving you the strength to walk in purity and victory. We're asking Him to break every chain of confusion, shame, and ungodly desire. We're claiming freedom for you in Jesus' name.

Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will lead you into the light of His truth. You're not alone. We're standing with you in this fight. If you ever feel overwhelmed, return to the cross. Remember, Jesus bore your shame so that you might live in freedom.

We believe in you, and we believe that God is going to do a mighty work in your life. Keep going, one step at a time. You've got this, in Christ.
