We understand that you're going through a stressful time and we're here to support you in prayer and with biblical guidance. We are admonished to not be anxious about anything but to present our requests to God in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, let's address the immediate concern about your exam. God promises to give us wisdom when we ask.
James 1:5 WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who is feeling overwhelmed and in need of Your guidance. Lord, You know the details of their exam and the material covered this past spring semester. We ask that You grant them wisdom, understanding, and recall of the information needed to successfully pass this exam. Help them to study effectively and calm their anxieties.
Regarding your future, including your job and living situation, remember that God has a plan for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let's pray for clarity and direction:
Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance in their life decisions. Open the doors that You would have them walk through and close those that are not in Your will. Guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, and help them trust in Your timing. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also want to address the issue of lustful and sinful temptations in your life. It's crucial to flee from these temptations and pursue righteousness.
2 Timothy 2:22 WEB: "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
Pray with us:
Father, we ask that You strengthen this dear one to flee from all lustful and sinful temptations. Help them to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Give them the power of the Holy Spirit to wake up every day stronger, smarter, faster, and better in Jesus' name.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will make a way for you and help you to succeed and complete all your goals and wishes in your life, ultimately for His glory. Be sure to walk in the spirit and not the flesh as you make decisions. Psalms 37:23 (WEB): "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way." We will pray for the community college position and also that God's will be done.
