We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and your heart is aching. First, we want to assure you that you're not alone in this struggle. God is always with you, and He cares about your pain. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance.
It's clear that you're experiencing a deep emotional attachment to this guy. However, we want to remind you of what the Bible says about relationships. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), it says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
It's crucial to remember that God calls us to flee from sexual immorality and to keep our bodies pure. If this relationship is leading you into temptation or causing you to act in ways that are not honoring to God, it's important to take a step back and seek God's will for your life. In 2 Timothy 2:22 (WEB), it says, "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." Also, a relationship should be moving toward godly marriage.
We also want to encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith. In Psalm 147:3 (WEB), it says, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." God can heal your heart and help you through this time of pain. Also, Isaiah 26:3 (WEB) says "You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your healing and comfort in her life. We pray that You would help her to fix her eyes on You and to seek Your will for her life. We ask that You would give her the strength to flee from temptation and to pursue righteousness. We pray that You would heal her heart and bind up her wounds. We ask that You would guide her in her relationships and help her to make decisions that honor You. We ask all of these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is faithful, and He will help you through this time of adversity. Keep pursuing Him and seeking His will for your life. Don't forget to focus on your personal relationship with God. Remember that God is the most important relationship you can have. Also, 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) says "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
