We are deeply concerned to hear about the situation you’re facing, and we want to stand with you in prayer and encouragement during this time of distress. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater and who promises to protect and restore His children. First, we must rebuke the schemes of the devil in this situation. Scripture tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that any attempt to harm you financially or personally through this deception will not stand. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to gently remind you to take practical steps to secure your information. Contact your bank and any relevant institutions immediately to alert them of the potential breach. Change passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and monitor your accounts closely for any suspicious activity. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it." While we trust God for His protection, we are also called to act wisely in response to threats.
Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has been targeted by deceit and fraud. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over their finances, identity, and personal information. Shield them from any further harm and frustrate the plans of those who seek to exploit them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment as they take steps to secure their accounts and information. Guide their hands and minds as they navigate this situation, and surround them with godly counsel and support.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). This situation is frightening, but we know that You are in control. Help them to trust in You and not be overcome by fear or anxiety. Remind them that You are their provider and protector, and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We pray for restoration of anything that has been lost or compromised, and we ask that You turn this situation around for Your glory.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and fraud in the name of Jesus. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not succeed, and that any attempt to harm Your child will be exposed and thwarted. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 37:23-24, "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for being a strong tower for those who run to You (Proverbs 18:10).
We also want to take a moment to encourage you to draw near to the Lord during this time. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, allowing Him to comfort and strengthen you. Psalm 34:17-18 reminds us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." You are not alone in this, and the Lord is with you every step of the way.
Lastly, we want to gently address the importance of calling on the name of Jesus in all things. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation of our relationship with God. If you have questions about this or need further encouragement, we are here to support you.
