I'm in pain

Disciple of Prayer
I am in pain and I ask you to pray for me in the name of Jesus. My wife conspired against me with her father, mother, and sisters, and her aunt called the police. All this to dominate me, break me, and harm me. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray and ask that these wicked people, who love money, and they insult and throw away my parents, be punished. Save me and free me from the wicked. Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight and hate me. I am waiting and cry out for your justice, Lord. Help me, save me, free me o Lord Jesus.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our righteous Judge, our Refuge, and our Deliverer. You have done well to call upon the name of the Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. He alone is our Advocate before the Father, and He alone has the power to break the chains of oppression and bring justice to the wicked.

The betrayal you describe is grievous, especially when it comes from those who should have been a source of love and support. The Scriptures warn us that in the last days, men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, and without natural affection, betraying one another as we see unfolding in your life. Yet even in this darkness, the Lord sees all, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever. The psalmist David cried out in similar distress, and his words echo your plea:

*"Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Also draw out the spear, and stop those who pursue me. Tell my soul, ‘I am your salvation.’ Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded. Let them be as chaff before the wind, Yahweh’s angel driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh’s angel pursuing them. For without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul. Let destruction come on him unawares. Let his net that he has hidden catch himself. Let him fall into that destruction. My soul shall rejoice in Yahweh. It shall delight in his salvation."* (Psalm 35:1-9, WEB)

We also remember the words of the Lord Jesus, who said, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."* (Matthew 5:10-12, WEB) Your suffering is not unseen by God, and He will repay those who have acted wickedly against you. The Lord is a God of justice, and He will contend with those who contend with you.

Yet even as we pray for justice, we must also remember the call to forgive, not for the sake of those who have wronged you, but for your own heart. Jesus said, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* (Matthew 5:44, WEB) This does not mean you must allow their wickedness to continue unchecked, but it does mean releasing the bitterness that can take root in your soul. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay. Your role is to trust Him, even in the midst of this storm.

We also urge you to seek wise, godly counsel during this time. The Lord often works through His people to provide support, guidance, and practical help. If you have not already, reach out to a pastor or trusted believers who can walk alongside you, offer biblical wisdom, and help you navigate the legal and emotional challenges you face. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who stand alone.

As for your marriage, we pray that the Lord would expose every scheme of the enemy and bring conviction to your wife’s heart. If she is a believer, we ask that the Holy Spirit would pierce her conscience and lead her to repentance. If she is not, we pray that the Lord would open her eyes to her need for Him. The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a covenant before God, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Yet He also hates injustice, oppression, and the breaking of covenants by those who act treacherously. Trust that the Lord will guide you in how to respond to your wife, whether that means reconciliation (if she repents) or taking biblical steps to protect yourself from further harm.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is crushed beneath the weight of betrayal, oppression, and pain. Lord, You see the wickedness that has been plotted against him. You hear the cries of his heart, and You know the depth of his suffering. We ask that You would rise up as his Defender, his Shield, and his Strong Tower. Contend with those who contend with him, O Lord. Fight against those who fight against him. Let their schemes be exposed, their plans thwarted, and their wickedness turned back upon their own heads. May they be confounded and brought to shame, for they have acted without cause and with malice in their hearts.

Lord, we pray for justice to roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Do not let the wicked triumph, but let their own nets ensnare them. Break the power of greed, manipulation, and hatred in the hearts of his wife’s family. If they have hardened their hearts against You, Lord, let conviction fall upon them. If they can be turned to repentance, soften their hearts and lead them to the foot of the cross.

Father, we ask for supernatural protection over our brother. Guard his mind from despair, his heart from bitterness, and his body from harm. Surround him with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Provide for his every need—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. Open doors for him to find godly counsel, legal support, and a community of believers who will stand with him in this battle.

Lord Jesus, we pray for his marriage. If there is any hope of restoration, we ask that You would work mightily in his wife’s heart. Soften her, Lord, and bring her to repentance. If she refuses to turn from her wickedness, we pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother as he seeks to honor You in every decision he makes. Give him clarity on the steps he should take, and grant him the strength to walk in obedience, even when it is difficult.

Father, we rebuked the spirit of oppression, manipulation, and betrayal that has sought to destroy our brother. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we break every curse, every scheme, and every stronghold that the enemy has tried to establish in his life. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of You, O God (Isaiah 54:17).

Fill our brother with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, and let him know that You are fighting for him, even when he cannot see it.

Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, our brother would draw closer to You than ever before. Let this season of suffering produce in him a deeper faith, an unshakable hope, and a love that reflects Your heart. Use this pain to refine him, to strengthen him, and to prepare him for the good works You have ordained for him to walk in (Ephesians 2:10).

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who conquered sin, death, and the grave. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Trust in Him, even when the path is dark. He is your justice, your healer, and your deliverer. We are praying for you and believing God for your breakthrough. Do not lose heart, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Dear brother, we're here with you, feeling your pain and anger. We understand the betrayal you're facing, it's unimaginable. But remember, Jesus is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We're claiming that promise over you right now.

We're asking God to expose the wickedness of your wife and her family, to bring their schemes to light and turn their hearts. We're believing for justice, for their plots to backfire, and for them to face the consequences of their actions (Psalm 35:8).

But brother, we also want to remind you of Jesus' words, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you" (Matthew 5:44). This doesn't mean you should accept their behavior, but it does mean letting go of bitterness. Vengeance is the Lord's, and He will repay (Romans 12:19).

We're praying for supernatural protection over you, for your mind, heart, and body. We're asking God to provide for your every need, to open doors for support, and to fill you with His peace (Philippians 4:7).

We're also praying for your marriage. If there's any hope of restoration, we're asking God to work in your wife's heart. If not, we're praying for wisdom and discernment for you as you navigate this situation.

Stay strong, brother. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He sees you, He hears you, and He will fight for you. We're believing for your breakthrough and standing with you in prayer.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
