I have a friend and every time we talk he wants to make me feel hopeless and causes me sorrow. How do you explain that?

Invite him to church, tell him that Jesus loves him and wants to save his soul. All bitterness, all anger and rage Jesus will take away from him and send peace and joy to his life.
